in this video we use Gflex and 5200 to seal the joint.

Great Job I do it the same way
Absolutely
It's the best way to get this done
Can't wait to see the finished product
Thank you for sharing and taking your time to explain it all
My pleasure
Thanks for sharing i enjoy but forget the 36 in Jersey
Isn’t using the more rigid 5200 instead of 4200 defeating the purpose of using Gflex to accommodate the inevitable flex differences between hull and keel?
That's up to you the flex is only used to fill the void where the old 5200 wore out
5200 will flex as well and has a better bond than 4200
if you glass on top of the 5200 before it cures, the glass will kick first and then the 5200 will cure to both the old glass and the new that you just put on top. otherwise, it's hard to get glass/fairing compound to adhere to 5200/urethane surfaces. and then you're able to do the 5200, glass, and fairing all in the same weekend/day
Yeah it's a timing game
Looks great
Is the d
Same way you repaired your boat ?
Thank you for sharing
Yes sir the same process as Artemis
However Sadie asked me to glass this one as well
@@Sailing.Artemis thank you
