What an amazing teacher!! I just ordered a bike and he just saved me about $40+ for assembly. If you buy an unassembled bike, you MUST watch this terrific video.
Im a bicycle assembler at walmart, I couldn't have made a instructional video better myself!! Most guys just go for speed to please managment! You on the other hand pay attention to quality, as I do also!! Good Vid thanks
Thank you very much. I bought a bike for my son from Sears today. To my surprise, it was un-assembled. We read the user manual and put it together ok. And then I saw this video, and realized we could have done a different way. We re-did some steps and make it better, especially the tune-up part.
It helps a lot.
Thanks for the video. This looks like it will take a little more time for the average person who purchases a store-bought bike and doesn't have a bike rack.
Best video for assembling bike..It was easy to understand and follow the steps..I actually fixed my right paddle on my left and left pedal on my right.. I then noticed it when I want for a test drive. I was scared that I might have destroyed the thread but I took it off and just no thread damage... So surprised but happy..
The manual that I received to assemble my new bike had 100+ overwhelming pages and confusing part terms I didn't understand. Thank you for posting this informative video and making the assemble process very simple!
Thanks! I'm buying a bicycle for my sister for Christmas, the one she wants needs to be assembled. I was really worried about it, because I've never put a bike together. This was a TON of help! Thanks!
Many times I face challenges on Breaking System, This is really helps me to understand the complete process including proper changing the Gear System.
You are a machine! Very impressive! I watched primarily to learn how to better adjust my brakes and deraillers....Helped alot!!!!
Good job sir....So nice of u sharing it with Public!!
Thank You!! You just saved me from insanity this evening. Although I am trying to assemble a tour bike with butterfly handlebars that are getting the better of me.... and none of my cables are connected! But thanks for taking the time to share your wisdom with the CZcams community :)
This definitely is the go-to video when it comes to assembling bikes. Awesome vid.
very helpful thankyou. just a suggestion maybe do closeups of the adjustments so we can better understand visually.
Great video I'm putting my wife's mountain bike together this weekend, first time I'll post again afterwards!
Wow, I always wanted to build a bicycle. Thanks for video. Looks easy.
TheSavvyTech, thank you very much for your explanation!! I'm not very mechanical savvy and with your insttruction was able to assemble the Diamondback Serene Classic Comfort Bike 2016! Thank you, nough said!
What an amazing video! Thank you so much! Liked!
Very Very informative!!! I appreciate your knowledge!! Was going to pay for a bike tune-up but you stepped on and solved that expense!!!
best video of its kind that i've seen on youtube. kudos!
Wow thanks for this video. I love bikes and bike shops. I could spend hours a day there
Thanks for the excellent video! :D
I'm applying for a bike assembly job very soon and I was a bit nervous about the part of the interview where you actually have to build a bike for them, this is exactly the kind of video I was looking for! :D
I'm a professional assembler paid by the bike, so my speed is crucial. Your technique for the right pedal just saved me a lot of frustration(I used to spin a wrench until it was flush with the crank and then tighten it with the pedal wrench). I'm definitely switching to your method now.
I also feel kind of stupid for not using a 3-way hex wrench like yours considering I've had the chance to before and thought better of it. I'm ordering one ASAP.
Do you have any other tips to speed up assembly?
Good vid can you make one of how to fix and check Walmart bikes

This was extremely informative. Thank you for sharing.
Great job. Can you post another one for how to assemble women's diamondback Vital2 , Please?
Thanks for the helpful video!
great tips on this video thanks
Great overview!
I have assembled a couple bikes out of the box and have found that the factories don't really grease the bike (bottom bracket, headset, front & back hubs). The bearings had little to no grease what so ever. I found it worth while to grease (pack) all the bearings while I was assembling the bike.
Your thoughts?
now this man knows what he is doing.
can anybody tell me which tools are necessary for assembling a bike?
Excellent information, I am a little rusty however really just like riding a bike, lol. 👍👍🇺🇸
Excellent
Really useful video
This is an excellent video, you saved me a good $60!
great video, thank u
I'm going to most likely be doing the same very soon.
very interesting
awesome vid. can you tell me, in most bike boxes do they include then necessary tools to assemble? (allens etc) or do you have to buy them? thanks
A true video thanks dude
What kind of grease to you use?
Great Video. Do you have experience with Disc Brakes in stead of Calipers? Is the assembly of the wheel with a Disc Brake System more difficult or less, or the same? Thank you for this post.
Is there a video how to assemble the weslo cross cycle exercise bike?
I was hoping to see the use of a torque wrench. Maybe checking the pressure in the tires. Replacing the frayed front brake wire maybe? Speed should not take precedence.
I need help how to put together a shock charger it fell a part
nice vid
this video was awesome!!! very helpfull. what about BBQ grills? any viideos on assembling that??
I hate installing the brakes on bicycles. It's the hardest part.
@mynamesmatt111 Unfortunately... you have to buy them
Every assembler has their own way and own routine so I like to see how others build them. I like it how you say you should be able to build a bike in 8-10 minutes in your 22 minute video building a bike.. It takes 5 minutes to just get the bike out of the box, position it properly on the bike stand, cut off all the paper and plastic from the bike, then take the accessory box out with the pedals, reflectors, and manual. Discard paper and plastic from those also, and put the reflectors on the handlebars and seat post. That's 5 minutes right there. So the next 3 minutes in your 8-10 minute plan your to adjust both front and back brakes which vary with every bike, check the chain and derailleur which vary with every bike, and you also failed to mention putting air in the tires which takes additional time as well. 20 minutes sounds about right to do it right. 8-10 minutes is not doing it right.
wish this man was my dad!
Glad i didn't pay the extra $60 to get my brakes and derailer adjusted....
Great video. Now I'm comfortable purchasing a bike not assembled
