Rear bumpers are not illegal Sir. Companies like Mahindra can't make and sell illegal parts that aren't approved by RTO and MORTH.
oh is it! thank you for letting us know sir. according to RTO rule.. exemption were not mentioned for rear.. it was kind of generalise restrictions..

Why there is a need for rear gaurd?
that's required only in extremely tight spaces with lot of rush, to avoid from bikes scratching the car from the back. because back side is light silver cladding.. would look odd when scratched..

Sir, i am not installing bumper protector as it is not only illegal, but one of the reasons for it being illegal is the damage it can cause to the other vehicle hitting you. So, on the same situations in which it protects the car, the other party can make us guilty, right? What do you think?
the other car actual avoid the next car with bumper guard. in both cases car on the back is going to damage our car, their damage would be more if not stopped by bumper guard as that's limits the impact area otherwise previous car damage would be more, kind of flat from bottom to top, including windshield.. depend upon the intensity.
you can make them convince that this saved his money as well ours, otherwise both side expense would be more...

@@techno-drive hmm... I have heard done reason for not allowing number protector is that it might cause damage to the vehicle hit as well as the person. What i worry is legally they can corner us.
Also how does the sensors and camera lines work after installing bumper protector. Can we easily adjust?
@@jaikc7840 Sorry for the delay, neither sensor nor number plate are hampered due to this. we have done the hill driving recently, have seen around all the cars use to have rear bumper there, because dent is very common there because of extremely narrow roads.

@@jaikc7840 brother your concern are correct but rear bumper is not illegal and if we will talk about MVI act 1955 then no police personnel are serious about the bumper guards and if these are illegal then Authorised showroom shouldn't sold this..And coming to the point brother, rear bumper will not hamper anything but it will safeguard your tail gate which is made of glass fibre it is one of the most strongest material, but think incase someone hits you from the back, then if dent appear or any damage done then entire rear tail gate will be changed no repair only replacement then what you will do...By installing this you can ensure your car safety and the persons who is drunked and wants to hit your car by knowingly they will only do .Otherwise normal people will not do this..So befikar home lagao

Do you feel gear change in your automatic transmission? Which kind of AT xuv700 has , DCT or CVT?
Dear pk, we dont feel any vibration while gears are changed automatically. but only change in race heard, thats obviously in manual as well.. this is torque converter automatic transmission.. ideally it used to be less efficient but now a days it went better..

Torque converter transmission used in XUV700.....Not CVT aur DCT..... In Torque converter transmission system you feel a slight lack in 1 to 3 gears because 1 to 3 gears are producing high Torque value and 4 to 6th gear for PS/ BHP value.....In all transmission systems DCT transmission is best transmission system.

In the long run, a Torque Converter is more preferable.
Also a torque converter will have comparatively less maintenance cost than a DCT.
