The best is him talking about eating a Vietnamese because they'd be more understanding, and forgiving. Then Joe saying " Vietnam's the one place where after we've been in a war, Americans can go back and the Vietnamese don't seem to mind." The way Theo immediately jumped on that with " Exhibit A" was the most perfect fucking delivery. As if it were scripted..lol..Theo is pure comedic gold. Damn, there is no way I can watch something else now. There is just nothing that could follow this. No choice, but to find an episode of This Past Weekend.

It really is a weird dynamic that works. Joe keeps interjecting facts into Theo’s crazy remarks and stories. I love listening to Rogan’s podcast but I can’t imagine him as a comic, especially comparing him to Theo’s natural flow.

@C obviously I put Chappelle and Burr above all comedians, but Theo really is the funniest comedian there is. When it comes to these off the cuff remarks during conversations.
@@saturnosiris1221 you've been corrupted by the youtube cult of popularity there is a huge gap between Chappelle and Burr and alot of great comedians sit between both, love both those guys but they are the popular on social media guys and Chappelle lives on a different planet to Burr as good as Burr is there is plenty of better comedians and he will admit that himself, dont let yourself down there are alot of other greats out there.
@@DC66DC Dave Chappelle is a legend, but I honestly don't even find his stand-up that funny. Chappelle Show is the best comedy skit show ever done. I've watched Half Baked half a million times. Huge fan of his. However, I find myself rarely laughing at his stand-up. I agree with a lot he says. I chuckle here and there. I don't get those belly laughs going though like I do with a lot of people. I actually compare him a lot to Bill Hicks or George Carlin's later years. Where it is more of a social commentary on whatever subject. It is funny, but not the laughing your head off type funny. Dave's stories, if the punchline doesn't hit, there's 5-10 minutes of story and I didn't laugh once. So idk. All of these three are legends. Not hating, just not what I'm looking for in a routine I guess.
As far as Bill Burr, his podcast work is way funnier than his stand-up IMO. He's certainly above average and top tier, but I agree there's many better.
Dave Attell is probably my favorite to perform stand-up where I'm just laughing uncontrollably throughout most of his sets. He's great! Of course Louis is great too. Patrice (RIP) one of my favorites. Mitch Hedberg (RIP) another one. These guys always had me laughing to where my face hurts. To each their own of course.
I can see these two becoming super close over time. No one gets Joe laughing as genuinely as Theo does.

I think Theo Von doesn’t want anything from him apart from making him laugh. And that is authentic. Especially if you are a guy on the level of Rogan. Everyone wants something of you.
Theo is in his own right a Shakespeare with the English language, some of his sentences and word combos are the most absurd and hilarious things I’ve ever heard.
He really is talented, definitely has a way with words. His perception of things paired with the vocabulary is hilarious.

The greatest Theo & Rogan moments are when Theo says something insane, with such a straight face, and Rogan starts dying of laughter while Theo just stares at him with a blank face. It’s like Theo says these crazy things and has NO IDEA why anyone is laughing about it.
