- Family arrives at beach / fully clothed - We hadn’t gotten to the beach in 7 yrs. At least 4, 5 of the children had never been to the ocean…We like beaches and we like people, we just like people to have clothes on at the beach…Guard your eyes…The boys know if something not supposed to be looking at, hey look at the sand, enjoy the scenery.

they're not judgemental there just protective with their kids I mean some people show up in thongs and no bras to the beach

They do, but they wear modest swimwear.

God this people are judgemental. Who are you to decide that people are immodest.

Girls in a bra and undes is not dressing modestly.
And guys with out a top on is not dressing modestly eather.
Well girls with a thing 👙 or having no top on is not modest just like men with no shirts on and there's nothing wrong with parents not wanting their children to see that I know I don't want my kids to neither
To be honest, I can see where the Bates are coming from.
Most parents would cringe at the idea of their sons looking at pictures of women in lingerie, or their daughters looking at shirtless, skimpily-dressed men.
Considering swimwear can be quite revealing, and the Bates value bodily privacy (except for between husband and wife), it's understandable that they want to keep their children away until they are older.
@@elizabethbrennan4889 it's called a bathing suit- not a bra & underwear. Then find a deserted beach or don't go at all. This is 2021, not the dark ages

How are these people different from the Duggars? They think everyone should live the way they do. This whole situation is stupid. People are at the beach are they really supposed to show up fully dressed to go in the water?!!!
Gil needs to realize not everyone shares the same beliefs as their family , so them wanting people to cover up at the beach is laughable to me. Like get over it , who wants to go to the beach covered from the neck all the down to their feet?
