- L3Harris manufactures some of the best night vision systems on the market and the L3Harris BNVD-1531 is no exception. Developed to provide a set of features that is not currently available on the PVS-31a, these goggles give users a feature rich system that meets almost any need. In this video we go through the features of the BNVD-1531, compare it to the PVS-31a, and show you what you get with this system.

These are outstanding just for the adjustability of the 1531s and built-in flood IR! That's a true pitch black nvg. Granted, you'll more than likely have an additional weapon mounted IR light. Sure, I'd love to have the 31a just for the better res. But everything I've read and researched, you won't really want for more. One thing is for sure, though. These 1531s sure the hell beats the brakes off of the pvs-14 issued in my time in the army! These would be perfect paired with my clip on thermal for hog/yote hunting and night training! Thanks for the video, brother! You probably just saved me a few $K because i was about to pull the trigger on the EotechNV-w binos.

Do they turn on/off automatically when you articulate them like the DTNVS? Or do they stay powered on when you flip them up?
they dont power off when you articulate, but do go to sleep mode when you flip them up.
