I have a 21 crew cab with 4x4 and I'm very pleased it also came with an improved center console 12 volt and bed ĺights, but I really love the non electric front seats to me it's much better!

I have a 12 regular cab short bed. Love it ,has 85k miles on it and haven't done a thing to it but change oil. The problem is id like to have a new one, but Chevy decided to drop that cab,bed configuration. I dint need a bunch of doors and don't like the looks of them. Guess I'll keep my old one

Does on some, mine doesn't. Also some have an outlet plug next to the USB, mine doesn't. And my bowtie isn't black either.
They should offer the Custom with the turbo 4, would make it even more affordable

I have the exact same truck. The headlights and no storage under the front arm rest are my only complaints
Found LED replacements on amazon. Under $100 for complete set with resistors and harness.
Owned both 5.3 and 4.3 (in 2wd)
MPG was very close and both would easily reach their maximum speed on a closed course. For those who like to drag race others who aren’t trying to race you, the 5.3 might feel a little better. Of course the v8 is the better choice for frequent towing near max capacity.
For that price it should come with a little person to clean all the bugs out of that front grille.
I got one of these for a loaner while my 2019LT is getting repair...… I really want my LT back!!!

Looks better on the exterior than the upper trims. But needs interior upgrade. It would probably increase sales if they did

I don't have the exact invoice for this and incentives change monthly. This was probably about a $43,000 truck then with incentives and savings you are getting anywhere between 7k-10k off.

Nice review but I have a question. When you go to the Chevy website to build a custom it lists the option for a 40/20/40 split bench front seat with covered armrest storage. Does it then mean for that extra $20 option it does come like the storage on the LT and LTZ 40/20/40 bench seats?
That I am not sure on. All of the customs I have seen have not had the storage. That sounds right to me though.
@@ChevyCLE I have to go get some parts from my local dealer so maybe I will check that out. Its pretty easy to get the center console out and swap it with better one. Guessing a few have already hit the wrecking yards.

Not much. Work truck to custom trim levels are different from the start.

Back in the 70s...you can get a Chevrolet truck for 5 thousand dollars...just saying...i would not pay over 20 thousand for one...just wait for 20 years from now and see how much it is....
Times have kind of changed my friend. Everything is more and has way more technology.

The pricing is $42,705 for the MSRP. There is almost $5,000 off just in rebates plus what you dealer decides to discount it.
And that is a good price. Yuck I paid in 2004 for a work truck brand new 4x4 2500 regarding cab 18,500.00. Crazy

The Custom does not come with it at all. Starts on the LT.

Not sure how that is? If anything Toyota is trying to compete with Chevy? The Tundra hasn’t been updated in years and is voted the worst truck on the market.
Chevy CLE I feel like Chevy is focusing more on ride quality and more reliability. They’re not even trying to compete with Dodge and Ford anymore. IMO
@@yorriamo As mentioned this is a lower trim level. There are plenty of other trucks that compete well with Ford and Ram. This truck does focus more on just being a truck and not adding all of the fancy features.

If I'm going to make payments on a truck....it sure as hell won't be a damn Toyota....i would hang my head and be sick every time i would make a payment on a Toyota if i got stuck buying one....i rather have this truck.....👀Chevy ford or dodge......the big 3 can haul commercial like hot shot trucking 28 to 30,000 pounds....Toyota don't do.....or legal to do.....
That's one fine looking truck! And I can tell you that it was made in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The black truck however, you briefly looked at, was most likely made in Mexico.

@@jasonglaze7874 Most of the crew cab siverado/sierra trucks are built in Silao, Mexico. Most of the double cabs are built in Fort Wayne, Ind. The HD trucks are built in Flint, Michigan. If you ever want to know for sure just click on description -then look at the VIN. If it starts with a 1 it is a US made truck. A 3 is Made in Mexico. A 2 is Canadian built.

The 2019 and the 2020 Silverado1500 custom has no interior storage underneath the arm rest... That's sucks...Having storage underneath the arm rest should be included after all this is a common thing to have at any cost. They took it to the extreme by not having it....for that reason I wouldn't buy one....
Am sure you can remove the center piece and put the center piece of the trail boss That center piece opens is a storage compartment.

I bought a 2019 1500 silverado, and have had trouble with the radio, completely shuts off, or I am on phone and it will drop call and radio won't work, can change screens, but no sound and won't change radio stations. And will have wifi, but no internet access, and I had internet service, and at time you will push button on steering wheel to make call it will say calling whoever, but won't make call. And all chevy tells me is tough luck, I am stuck with a good looking truck, with crap electronics. The internet while paying for it wouldn't work most time. I would have 4 g on my phone, but truck would say no internet access. In places I usually have internet, If I could do over, I wouldn't buy a chevy. Because they don't stand behind their junk product. Dealership, has told me nothing they can do to fix it. And GM won't buy back to make it right. And I have had these problems since first month I bought it. I bought the truck at Mike Castrucia cheverolet in milford, oh. Have had other electrical problems, but they seem to have fix those.
I like my 2018 better more for less! There isn't any true value with the 2020's imo.
Any one else having transmission issues with theirs?
Chevrolet has major problems with the 6 speed transmission and the 8speed the 8 speed I guess has a class action lawsuit against it the 6 speed clunking issues with them beware

Scotty Kilmer hates Chevy and GMC because parts are made so poorly, such as A/C units dying waaay too soon and costing a fortune to repair. Any comments?
Everyone has their own opinion! The A/C issue I haven't seen a whole lot of. I have this new body style Silverado and have had no issues!
I will not buy one to find the flaws.
