the bus accident was bad just because it's a cliche, not because it was bad writing. That's what got me the feels. Especially when the revisit their first day together. That was really refreshing, and showed us how beautiful they were together.

Regardless of what the critics say I love this film. Just watched it for the second time. Anne Hathaway is stunning in her portrayal of Emma and Jim Burgess plays the charming wealthy idiot to perfection. Together they've made a fabulous and unfortgetable film.
Yeah,absolutely.The critics are nth but a bunch of bums with no creativity..We all are critics.You dont need to make a website and dubb yourself a critic to be a critic..I loved this movie like no any romantic movies
If you love Jim you definitely have to watch "Feed the beast", a serie in which he is the main character. Absolutely witty, a bit "Breaking Bad" 's style and, unfortunately, not very lucky (there won't be a second season because the audience was expected to be much more, which is a very big disappointment for me). Anyway watch it, it's great!

I appreciate the movie for what it is. Anne's performance was fantastic, the way she expressed emotions of longing, aching, regret, disappointment, trying to show Dexter her happiness for him even when her heart was breaking - even with the subtlest facial expressions. I don't care so much if her accent was accurate or not as Emma isn't limited to one nationality. Emma can be anyone who has experienced loving without being loved back.

I didn't see it that often, only in comedies and cartoons as a spoof (like mean girls). I only remember that Meg Ryan/Nicolas cage movie, the name eludes me. Also devastating. But that was a truck though.

I cried for 3 days after finishing the book. I'm a 64 year old bachelor!!! Job well done by David Nicholls. Now the movie clips make me weep too. If I ever meet anyone like Emma Morley I will be speechless with joy. Good work guys.
Loved the scene at the wedding with the song Angels by Robbie Williams them talking about love, life and friendship. Its sad that it took so many years for two lovebirds that were meant to be together, that came together at the end but ended sadly. I love this movie I wish it was longer the book is not alll the same they Jim and Anne are wonderful together it is best see the movie then read the book some of the U K lingo might be hard for US folks to understand mom was from the UK and my dad was french so I understand it like the dad being Jean Paul Belmondo he was a french movie star he is from the time of Catherine Deneve I have seen a lot of their movies Linda

Jim played Dexter perfectly. He somehow manages to play a loving, hole-hearted man and a complete arrogant idiot. Anne kind of let the film down for me.. :s

@@markjosephcayanan9504 Haha wow, don't even remember commenting this. From what I remember, I think I just found the film difficult to watch as I didn't think Anne's accent was very good. It's not easy to do a Yorkshire accent. I love her in everything else!

i think Anne did fantastic. except for the accent I think David Nicholls have the faults for the lack of Emma in the Anne's portrayal, if you think of it, Dexter's image was easier because of the scenes plus of course the acting of Jim. what I mean is the film is lacking of scenes that will be good in showing the book's Emma, like how will you know Emma is smart, intelligent? because they said so? because she's wearing glasses?

Who want to write novel "..Alone "...(I loved who travels in jungles).I loved who take photos for general or magazine..I like children who sewing clothes, embroidery on them or woolen clothes with embroidery,sing a song ,write novels grow grains crops for birds, animals,..,grow crops,grains, vegetables, fruits oils seeds for cooking ,oil seeds for makeup,oils seeds for babies, body ,oil for tool machine,oils for sewing machine,oils for vehicle,oil for aircraft...make fish ponds, give fishes feeding grain in open ocean ,lived in farm houses, ride on horses,donkey, 😄 lolz. Or who have some different life like they have ghost, angel ,demon,Jin friends or mirror shows someone in the room , you have two three person living in you who comes in dark clean room who come from another galaxy....,or you are in love but no one know ...
