      @NotaNazgul Před 4 lety +2

      @@ssheikh3598 while jumping your feet forward towards your hands, the lats normally have some work to do. They can pull your extended hands towards your chest, but also down towards your butt (together with different ribcage and shoulder muscles).
      Keep your shoulders well away from the ears during most exercises, that prevents injury.

    I started doing burpees a little over a month ago and Im blown away by how quickly I’m noticing improvements. I am about 30 pounds overweight for my height and age. Barely get any exercise other than the I do walking at work.
    On day 1 I could barely do 3 whole burpees at a time without feeling like I was going to die. My first set I did 5. Then through the day I did two more sets of 5. These were super modified. I couldn’t jump back into the plank position, nor could I jump back up from plank position. I had to move one leg down and then back up at a time.
    I practice every other day.
    By the end of week 2 I was able to do 6 sets of 5 power burpees in just 6 minutes.
    By the end of week 3 I was able to jump my body to and from the plank position.
    By week 4 I was adding the downward motion to my burpee and going all the way down. It only took me 4 weeks to do a “real” burpee and I’m so proud of myself. I can really feel a difference in my physical health. I’m much less winded carrying groceries up to my 2nd story apartment and I can squat like a champ with heavy boxes at work 🤣

    I started 100 burpees a day for a month. About 10 days ago I finished the month but I still continue doing them. I lost a total of 20lbs and I have to say, your diet is very important. Also I do multiple exercises. Mostly calisthenics. But surely if you do 100 burpees just as your cardio. You’ll be really good. So far I plan on reaching my weight around 177lbs. I’m at 188 right now. It should take me roughly another 15 days if I keep at it with no breaks

    • @CRAZYHELLBOY23
      @CRAZYHELLBOY23 Před 4 lety +12

      Update: I started building more muscle whilst losing weight. I hit a plateau on losing weight where I was just stuck on 185. So I started building muscle and eating more protein. Safe to say that it actually helped lose more body fat. As of now I’m roughly between 183 and 184. My scale has been miscalculating lately so I’m not sure but I’ve adapted into the gymnastic workouts in order to strengthen myself and build muscle. I also noticed my body is more toned out. I haven’t went under 180 yet so the goal is to reach lower than that in the meantime. 100 burpees isn’t enough anymore. Although I do them they just aren’t enough for burning fat. I’m going to have to find another fun cardio workout that I can do for hours daily

    So I do either of the routines of Burpees and/or Strength Exercises. I like to refer burpees as active method and strength as progresive. Burpees burn more calories and quick to lose fat in matter of time. Alternative to doing burpees is to sprint.
    The strength on the other hand you must do the following exercise consisting; push-ups/dips, pull-ups/rows, plank, squat, running/aqatic skills, and lifting. Therefore using progressive methods to burn calories in simplicity plus the progression.

    If you do burpees every day, you will have athletic look. Period. Don't do same repetition every time, your body will get used to of it & then no special effect. Do with variations (including push up, mountain climbers & similar stuff). Any one can do 100 burpees each day. Start from 5-10 on day 1 & then increase with each next day.

      I am walking 20,000 steps each day. Three weeks ago, I added pushups to my walk. Every 100 steps, then 10 pushups. I now set a timer to go off every minute until I have reached 500 pushups. This week, I tried it with adding burpees. In my Tabata timer, I have the first 100 every two minutes. Because of the challenge of the burpees, the second 100, I added 30 sec. I added 30 seconds at each 100 mark to 500 total. I can’t believe how addictive it is (the warm Florida weather helps). It takes between 2.5 and 3 hours. I do this starting around 4:30 am because the blacktop at this RV Park is hot about an hour after the sun appears.
      So: over 20,00 steps
      500 burpees
      500 pushups
      Already had to go down two holes on the belt just from three days of incorporating the burpee. I am down 5 belt holes on the belt and in need of clothes that will fit.
