Why are we even Paying Taxes??
It’s great to have exposures like this but honestly what good comes from it? Hawley and other senators should be able to send this info off to the Department of Justice but if they do then nothing will happen because that department is so corrupt that the offenses are ignored.
I suspect the only thing they can do is reduce the funding for the DoI, the House has funding and appropriation control but only Joe Briben can remove the director of a department and replace them

To be fair, the people of Minnesota generally do not want mining anywhere near the Superior National Forest. It is one of the last natural landscapes, barely touched by man that has been enjoyed by hikers, canoers, kayakers for many generations. We want it left alone so future generations can enjoy it too. This isn't some "recreation area" that Josh Hawley has referred to it as that can be built somewhere else. This is some of the best fishing in the state, lakes connecting to lakes, connecting to rivers and waterfalls. The wildlife that lives there include endangered Moose, waterfowl, and lots more that would lose habitat (there's no where else for them to go). It's a major source of tourism supporting small towns like Ely, MN. If he actually came up here and spent a week in the wilderness, and another week in the small town of Ely getting the opinions of people that rely on the fisherman and canoe enthusiasts for their livelihood, then he might understand why it needs to be protected.
