I just discovered it this year and wish I still had my 1973 Cadillac but if you have Alexa just say “Alexa play KYNO 940 am” and you will be able to listen too 50s and 60 oldies and at midnight Saturday night they play the national anthem like they used to back then. Wow! We've come a long way since the cruising scene descended on the Kings Road, Chelsea back in 1975, here we are nearly fifty years later and the scene is bigger and better than ever before. An amazing selection of quality cars, everybody involved in this annual event including the film maker should be very proud, keep on cruisin'!
I can only think of one car from England that was very popular in the States. The Ford Anglia. They made great drag racing cars and were imported by the hundreds in the 1960s. My older brother built one when he returned from Vietnam. Dad wasn't very happy when he took over the garage. Besides the money he saved from two tours in Vietnam was supposed to go for a down payment on a house. So much for the house... Custom built frame to handle the power from a big block Chevy with a 871 blower. He insisted on a 4-speed tranny, Muncie M22 Rock Crusher with a Ford 9-inch rear end. That car was a beauty when completed. It was street legal and NHRA compliant. I can still recall cruising the parking lot of White Castle and backing in a parking spot looking to make a few bucks on a street race. Some of my best memories as a 13 year old kid.............

Thanks Trevor. I did consider including the blonde in the T-Bird as part of the script for the Wolfman voiceover. In hindsight, I maybe should have done. Maybe next time. It was certainly good turn out and there were many cars in attendance that I didn't capture on film. Roll on 2024.
Awesome video, it's brings back so many memories of the Chelsea cruise before it went into Battersea park and to pair it up with Wolfman jack and the great American Graffiti movie is very clever. I hope there will be a cruise in 2024, because I will definitely be there.
