    00:55 NIYO benefits & drawbacks
    04:25 BookMyForex benefits & drawbacks
06:49 3 hacks to save your money while you are travelling
This video is made only for educational purpose and not for promotional purpose, after using these two credit cards personally on my 10 day trip to Europe.
    Trip Itinerary: www.europamundo.com/eng/tour_...
Conclusion: NIYO is better if you plan to travel multiple countries. BMF is better is you are planning only in 1 country. Best option is to have both and some local currency cash in place.
Also, I found this article / Linkedin Post regarding NIYO card(s). For some additional information please:

    Some additional points:
    1. NIYO Debit and Credit Card can be used to get FREE international lounge access at Indian airports.
    2. As per reviews, International transactions are banned only for Niyo SBM debit cards. Niyo DCB and Equitas can be used in both - ATM & during online transactions internationally.
    3. ATM withdrawal charges for NIYO card(s) are mentioned in first question of FAQ section on this page: goniyo.com/
    4. BMF is taking some Rs.150-250 as service charges for issuing a Prepaid Card.
    5. For getting currency notes from BMF card, you will be charged Rs.150/- as service charges + 18% GST of 1% of FOREX value. For example, if you want to get 400 euros cash @ 91rs exchange, then around 36600rs is the total forex value. Extra charges that we pay are 18% of 1% of Rs.36,600/- = Rs.65 + Rs.150/-.
    6. Cash withdrawal charges from BMF card varies from country to country. Here is the link for that reference: www.bookmyforex.com/ybl-schedule-of-charges/

If only single currency conversion then Bookmyforex card is fine else Niyo. Further Niyo SBM Debit Card is waste and credit card has FD based limit which is not useful for bigger transactions . Best is to have Niyo Equitas Debit Card. Load INR as per requirement and gives flexibility to spend in multiple currencies.

No, you cannot load / withdraw money apart from FD for increasing CC limit. It acts like a CC, and FD amount acts as the CC limit.

I just want to know how much time does ot take to load money in MMF card. I heard it takes 24hrs to load money into it. If this is true then it will be difficult if we add less amount initially. I m planning a trip to UAE.

Thank you very much for your kind and inspiring words! Comments like these are truly motivational for me.
Yes, it usually takes this much time to load money in BMF, because every time we are adding money, they are asking docs like visa and passport. I suggest load a good amount in one go. Keep NIYO & some cash as well as a backup.
ICICI & HDFC forex cards are also good, however they have a bit higher forex rate than NIYO and BMF.
P.s. Do check out my new video on retirement planning. I assure you that is different from all the videos we see related to this topic.

is it good to get dollars in cash from an authorised shop or through bookmyforex?
(also 70-75 euros in total and bills need to be kept of all or only on 1 particular thing if we are spending 70-75 euros to get the return on airport?)

    • @finvestomate
      @finvestomate  Před 18 dny

      1. Compare the rates from the shop vs BMF website. Go for whatever is cheaper.
      2. 70-75 euros per bill. So, if you are having three bills say 37 EUR, 80 EUR, 62 EUR, then tax returns will be eligible only on 80EUR bill.

      1. No, this is not possible because your CC limit is Rs.5,000/-. Loading money is not an option in NIYO. It is a credit card, whatever you pay, the bill will be generated of same amount. But the maximum that you will be able to spend thru' NIYO in one transactions is Rs.5000/-. Better load Rs.1lac in Dirham in BMF card and do this transaction.
