The Battle of Soui Tre, III Corps, South Vietnam, March 19-21, 1967

Michael Doolittle spent twenty months in South Vietnam. The focus of this discussion is the Battle of Soui Tre, March 19-21, 1967. The battle came in the context of Operation Junction City in Tay Ninh Province, near the Cambodian border. Over this three-day period, more than 50 U.S. soldiers were killed in combat or died from wounds. Video glitches made it necesary to use photos from other veterans (Jack Billups, Dolan Melson, Joe Vernengo, Jerry Toler and Larry Roy).
