Undermounting this thing is absolutely disgusting lol, you can't fight hovers or spiders but aggressive wedges go boom, it's balanced well until you fuse it for blast radius and use a harpy cabin, I also used a flywheel, maxwell, stealth module cheetah and Argus for a 75% damage boost, it quickly becomes broken and extremely fun watching it find gas gens and fuel tanks
The weapon is strong, but the projectiles retain the momentum of your car, unlike pretty much everything else. You gotta get used to it in order to have any accuracy with the weapon.
I'd say....for now...its balanced!.....thanks for sharing mrG!...stay safe and keep it up!
I take back everything I said in the last vid's comments. The big ol' wang seems relatively well balanced! Does good damage but is surprisingly hard to use, plus that massive energy drain makes up for it. Decent weapon, but nothing special imo
Once you play it enough it will become OldWang
Like all other high end weapons, the Jongwang will take time to learn just how to use it to best effect. When I use it, it feels like there is a lot of promise there but I just can't quite find it. Take care.
Same here, there's potential, I've landed some devastating hits with it, but they are too few and far between. Playing with the idea as to whether or not it'd be worth upgrading, but want to hold off and see if Gaijin "tries" anything with it (nerf/buff/mod)
I haven't bought it myself but apparently, alot of ppl are having success with it UNDER their rig. It essentially lets you hit all the gear we've been hiding under the cabs - Hope this helps :)

I think it needs a buff. Comparing it with all the other Granada launchers with less power draw it lacks dps, the grenades' don't stay out long enough to be of any use as area denial, and aiming is horrible wile on the move.
i play it with 4 blastoffs a cockpit a maxwell a cloak and a reload module in 8499 it is extremely broken if u hit ur shots and run a decent build.
What I wanna know is how good is it for raids cuz that's like 90% of my gameplay and a bunch of grenades/mines for unassuming bots sounds fun
i think my spider is worthy for an arachnophobia pack XD some said it looks so real its creepy

Close range weapon what can't aim down and has only 423 hp for 9 energy and have a huuuuge hitbox. I would say it's pretty weak. I lost it in every fight after 5 seconds. If it would cost only 8 energy at least I could use it in pair.

You need to mount the YongWang under the build so that you launch grenades under vehicles.
Try a big durable vehicle and slam into people and launch the grenades under them. It will devastate an enemy.
Hey, please, I had the same struggles. But I built a vehicle that makes the yongwang very usable for mid to close range.
My vehicle is called The Iron Disabler

Not sure if Yongwang is worth 9 energy; especially compared to a Retcher with is only 6 and way more destructive. A Retcher plus 3 energy worth (9 energy) of modules vs Yongwang (9 energy). Now I get that the Yongwang is only an epic where the Retcher is legendary but still... something doesn't feel right with the Yongwang.
EDIT: Yongwang is also very large so pretty easy to hit/strip. As such you'd definitely have to put it somewhere hidden but that's hard with such a large weapon. Maybe mounted on the underside of a cabin with Big Foot wheels? You also can't aim the weapon downwards; only up slightly.
Retchers are usually much easier to strip from my experience and don’t fire in bursts, with a yongwang you can get in there, fire a quick burst, then try to keep the weapon away from the enemy while it reloads or rely on mobility to catch them in a bad spot.. Though it is also possible to play up close and dirty with the thing, just be aware that you’re playing risky that way. You only ever use 1 yongwang which means you don’t have to worry about guns blocking each other or having reduced firepower from 1 being stripped.
I have used the weapon on a fast/aggressive build within 11k ps for a day now and I usually only find myself getting it stripped from bad driving, getting surprised, or bad aim. Basically whenever it gets stripped it’s usually because i did something wrong and not the weapon being wet toilet paper.
Retchers probably deal more dps (I don’t use them), but if I am not wrong, a lot of meta or popular weapons are burst. Cannons, porcs, scorpions, kaijus, etc.
What I’m trying to say here is that it’s well worth 9 energy. You got a high damage burst grenade launcher that fire in bursts, has enough durability to take some punishment, provided you don’t make any big oopsies, and to point out some minor details, it can ricochet its shots and use them as mini mines if they happen to miss as niche as that is. Sorry if I didn’t word this response well.

It is balanced because it drains a lot of energy (my opinion😅), butt i would prefer it nerfed to fit at least 2. Many players play with the same pair of weapons, simpler, more intuitive. Sometimes i also play with mixed weapons, but rarely. But i like much more with pair of powerful identical weapons. My opinion again. Anyway, Mr.G number 1!👍🏼
The Yongwang is meant to be a support weapon combined with various modules to boost its damage and give your build better survivability, utility and support capabilities. 15% extra damage per energy point spent on hardware
Johannes Larsson ok I agree with you. it has excellent durability and with additional modules it creates a lot of damage. I repeat that it was my opinion, perhaps because I am used to classic armaments while the new weapons have a very different game system. I wish I could have mounted two. but even alone I find it very funny.

I dont want to get better with that gun. It hits like a truck yeah.. but it feels like the most awkward weapon I've put on any build massive hit box low durability. 9 points of energy on a purple and the thing dont look down at all.

The name of the weapon is terrible... seems something out of a comedy movie like the Hangoover... "Yong Wang" xD
That weapon reminds me of the grenade launcher on Team Fortress... i wonder if you can "billard" the grenades on the walls to do some kills.... they should make the "grenades" a bit bigger or more sparkling to be easier to track them

Tf u mean super nerfed , they buffed em in every way basically apart from tonnage and u cant use wheels on em , blues are still the better hovers but reds are actually just not complete garbage
@@darbro7562 I was gonna make this long and drawn out, but I have chosen to make it short. I do not believe sacrafising hover health, turn speed, stop speed & stability over terrain for how much I can place on it a fair trade. My reasons include: 1. I'd much rather have control so it is easier to avoid team mates and be able to KEEP control over my ride. 2. A hover has 200 durability for the IV and, 165 for the VII. Which is like flying around on an unstable fuze drone or gravastar shotgun. But, I also respect your difference in opinion so ya know I bet there are still decent builds out there. but as it is hovers have been nerfed to the point of being a drone and being in the air when you lose one is almost like the PONR. I feel this is a matter of opinion maybe due to what is prefered by the builder because a lot of movement parts have low health. So this means it's what do you prefer Wieght or Control.
Maybe it will work in PvE
Yong and Kaiju is just 2 weapons in one still can be outpowered by a person with 3 weapons

This is the third yongwang video I've watched where people bash this weapon....
I made a cockpit build with Hermes and Yongwang and have a 30 second Xbox clip where I one shot 3 builds in a row with full health... The damage potential is insane on this weapon. The weapon isn't trash, it's amazing tbh and if you think otherwise you may need a better build or work on your aim. That or stick to drones and shotgun wedges if that's the amount of skill you have 😂🤣😂
