The way they ran that prevent defense and let the Chiefs not only catch the ball but get plenty yards after the catch was a master class in how to blow a game.

The Bills defense was awful the last 13 seconds. They were playing to prevent a touchdown. It’s like they forgot that a field goal can tie the game.
That's exactly how they played and put that on the coach. This may have been their best chance to win. Windows don't last long in the NFL.
Many times you see prevent defense and the other team goes down the field.

bills deserve to lose that game but the OT rules are pretty shitty. The rules are designed for the offense to score every drive, so if u win a coin toss youre at an advantage of winning the game because of the rules.

Stephen A is dead right. The BUF defense did not deliver a stop when the team needed it. Unfortunately for them, the crew on the other side of the ball took complete advantage of the weaknesses of the BUF defense and took the game. Regardless of all the on-field heroics, regardless of whether you do or don't like the current NFL OT rules, the play of the BUF defense is what lost them the game. Both Mahomes and Allen could not have possibly done more in their roles as quarterbacks to affect the outcome of the contest. The Buffalo defense needed a stop, they came up short, and thus, the Bills head home.

Our pass rush was so weak that game. Mahomes had enough time in the pocket to get his hair done and shoot State Farm commercials. Just ridiculous.

Missed FG, missed extra point and Chiefs offense took ball out Mahomes hands on 3rd and 1 which led to stupid playcall and them settling for a FG. Allen was lucky to even be in position to go ahead because Chiefs should have been up 2 scores.

That was possibly the best football game I’ve ever seen just the back and forth nature and the furious ending. Just got to applaud both teams. Feel bad for the Bills team and fans but Mahomes greatness was just too much on that day.

Bills defense is #1 ranking - you need to show it in the playoffs. Prevent defense - should never be used. You have to shove the receiver at the line and keep 2 safeties deep and rush 2 players at the line (lol) - crowd the field!

These guys are nuts. They're just hyping up to help ratings. The league and the networks want this BS. Allen is not even close to Mahomes. A lot of Allen's success has been designed runs on 3rd and 4th down and defenses have seem unprepared. They will adjust and it won't be that easy next year. Then Allen will need to throw more and he is nowhere near Mahomes in that category. There may be several QBs in the AFC that will be better passers than Allen pretty soon.

It wasn’t the secondary primarily, the d line sold out the secondary the whole game. They were lock down and just couldn’t sack mahomes when the opportunity presented itself. Then the coaching staff had them in the scariest defensive scheme because the staff was so scared of them scoring a touchdown. No reason bills shoulda rushed 4 , shoulda had an extra DB on the field. Other than that, the bills secondary showed up. Sad as native from Buffalo 🤦🏽♂️

Tyreke Hill is the single reason why KC won this game. Kelce of course plays a big part but without Hill KC doesn't win. He's not getting enough credit.

Prevent Defense just means you’re playing not to lose the game… it’s especially bad when the other team just needs a field goal to tie it..

I think it’s clear that no squib + aimless situational D against Hill and Kelce was a blunder combination for the ages. Thank goodness that someone finally mentioned this explicitly. I don’t support either team, and I’m definitely not a Mahomes hater, but Buffalo just totally collapses. How can they do Josh Allen like that? Simply criminal. Allen outplayed Mahomes if it’s even possible and Mahomes magic is always next-level, but, hey, any number of things could have stopped this tragedy from unfolding. The one thing the Bills couldn’t do is let nerf goat Mahomes play two hand touch street ball with 13 secs left!?! Are they crazy? At least smash Kelce and Hill at the line w/ double coverage over the top! Oh man, Rex Ryan right on point. A squib clearly makes the game almost impossible. Josh Allen handled the horrific team breakdown well, though. It’ll be scary if he’s hungrier, blowing teams out next year with this memory in mind.

As good as Josh allen played I still give the edge to Mahomes bc the whole game his degree of difficult in facing the number defense in a number of areas and losing Honey bager to injury and lastly managing to put up 42 points. That bills D was incredible for most of the game in containing K and the Cheeta. It was Mahomes running, scoring and getting first down just like Josh A. that was the difference and lossen them up and allowing the receivers to come through at times.

I'm not a Bills fan nor the Chiefs, but that was the best NFL playoffs game I've seen. You could tell how hurt Josh Allen was after the defense couldn't stop the Chiefs for 13 seconds. I thought the Bills won the game. I still can't understand how the defense let Hill and Kelce blow passed by them like they don't know how to play defense. They are the #1 defense in the NFL. Insanity!! They don't know how to play situational Football. 13 seconds!! Come on!!

Defense scheme was terrible in last 13 seconds. Maybe it is coordinator who think they will go deep? They had 3 TOs and could shoot 15-20 yrds and where was safety positioned?? And why TE keep turning inside and no one was there? That is bread and butter Football 101 in that short time remaining?? Just get rid of them
