SteakPie Gaming the nightmare one is creepy and fucking scary at first, but then it becomes the least scary one, because the jumpscare aspect of it is not as good as it is with the other ones, since it's just a static image with a static sound that does not change, so it may be creepier, but it becomes a lot less scary over time.

The fnaf 4 paradox is where you need to have a high volume to beat it, but when you get jumpscared you become permanently deaf, but when your volume’s too low, you just get jumpscared a bunch. Basically, you choose the deaf pill or the non-gamer pill.

This is definitely the scariest FNAF game out of the entire franchise. Having it be a bedroom makes it way more personal, you're supposed to feel secure but you're not, which makes it all the more unsettling. The lack of cameras keeps the environment cramped, because they're constantly outside your room, just at varying lengths. And the lack of any prolonged defences makes it feel more dangerous. The first game had the doors you could close while doing other things, the second game had the light and mask ward off the animatronics, the third game had the audio lure as well as closing off the vents. Here, you just have a flashlight to ward off Freddy on your bed, and physically closing the doors after listening to the footsteps and breathing to block them. everything just feels so cramped and personal that you lose all sense of security

Its been a wonderful 9 years playing FNaF. From getting scared shitless in the first game to not even blinking during the jumpscares, i (and this community as a collective) have a long way. Thanks for all the memories Mark and Scott, i owe a huge chunk of my childhood to you.

i like how nightmare’s jumpscare isn’t meant to scare you, it’s meant to traumatize you. his sound while jumpscare is referring to the sound of ambulance due to evan’s death, you also hear a sound of a flatline in the end of night 6

basically, there's an uncommon chance of the door not working, and it's more common with higher ai levels.
