Matts quote "These trees just poke out of the ground" priceless
Trees? What are those?
They fall across the trail too!
I live in the desert, I agree 😂😂
Well, now I want a shirt with Matt's face that says "Where do they keep all their cactus?"
Your trees just pop out of the ground?
Yea why do you guys have things that are alive over here.
Several great "Mattisms" were to be heard on that trip.
The morrvair is dialed! This channeling is amazing💪🏻
I’d buy that!
I am 85 and have been watching you for some time and look forward to more of your adventure in life. I see what can be done when people work together, and how you have become a family in the workplace. LOVE IT!! As I said, I am 85 and wish I could still do what I did when I was younger, but seeing all of you work together brings me joy.
Thank you for reminding us younger folks to get livin!
"what level of obstacle is this?"
"this is a chainsaw level obstacle"
that one got me good
My step dad carries one for just such occasions. Then burns it when he gets back to camp.....
Never used to carry a chainsaw, but used a carpenters hard point handsaw, easyer to pack, worked really well, and for the light stuff they came across more than addiquate. The bow saw design in my experience never kept to a line and went blunt very quickly.
It's actually how crazy capable the Morvair is while still being such a nice ride.
Dude, exact same thoughts on my mind! xD It is incredible how this rig can sneak through all of this!!! :D
Its because at first place..they built morvair for that purpose..so its not crazy...if ford mustang do that then you can called it crazy
It’s the ls
And sounds good doing it.
its got a time tested jeep formula, v8/auto power, built one ton axles, hydro steer and 40s. itll do anything a jeep will do with the same formula. it has about a perfect wheelbase too
Turns out the Morvairr isn’t half bad wheeling out in East Tennessee! Thanks for coming all this way to hang out with us Matt and crew. And for your fans, we’ve got some more footage that didn’t make this video over on our channel so go check it out! Plus more to come…
I was thinking Robbie was going to need to work on the morvair after this wheeling. Looks like a loose mirror was the only battle scar. Great job out there and having fun too.
All rigs are capable, east coast you need different tires that clean out better to grab traction on the next revolution, the milestar patagonias are great for utah slick rock but wanna hookup here on the east coast, need something more mudd capable swampers or bfg mt work great in the mudd , same situation if you go to utah then us east coast guys be at a slight disadvantge also. Know your terrain prepare for it all you want, but the winch will come in real handy anyway, no rig is bulletproof we all get stuck sooner or later
@@dangobin1592 If Matt's Patagonias weren't so worn out they would do much better. They are MTs and will do great in mud.
Ay by where is it too
Dude! I know exactly where your shop is!
It was like a year or so ago but I was doing Uber in my pickup and picked up several people from there , and took them somewhere!
I'm not saying where but I got to get a quick shop tour while waiting on someone to finish getting ready.
Two things: I didn’t think that Morvair could be any cooler. Then I, along with everyone else, watched it crawl up that crazy line at 11ish minutes and now I’m at a whole new level of awe. You brought the cool into station wagon. I had to pause the video and post a comment and like again after watching that climb.
Second, THE absolute best channel. The whole off-road team are as good as they come. You restore my faith that good people are out there. Lots of them. My next mini vacation to St George needs to absolutely include a stop in ‘Hura-cun’ to get a picture in front of the storefront.
Thanks for all effort to do these things and to let us live vicariously through you.
I know, my daughter can watch these with me and never a beep. most channels the first beep-de- beep beep i hear I am gone.
"We like our trees petrified" CLASSIC!
I've been wheeling here and middle Tennessee for 40 years..when people ask why I run bias ply swampers I tell them to come to Tennessee..recovery gear includes chainsaws and tire plugs in tennessee lol..
12:15 The grin of a man who did _not_ wreck his bosses custom rig.
@23:00 "and your Blackhawk"
NIIIICEEEE message for HeavyD right there!🤣👍🥳
Good job Matt
I love that when given the option between hard, medium, and easy, Matt hesitated about .27 seconds before cranking it right into the hard line. 👍
Right witch one again.. ok left I
I GO sutch a positive channel. N wheeling family.
Man code dictates the medium and easy line are only allowed after failing the hard line. Matt knows the code
He had to ponder Bleepin's definition of "easy"
The Morrvair. An off-road machine _and_ a recovery machine. Truly an amazing machinery.
A testament to your build skills that you've created a vehicle that wasn't purposely built for that particular environment, yet capable of tackling the obstacles...and it's a work truck too!
We Love you All! Thank you for what you do and sharing it with us.
Today’s lesson, when two Matt’s go off-roading bring spares 😂
Spare Matts, well they did.
At least they did not run out if gas
I know Matt calls his crafting skill _fabri-cobbling_ but the Morrvair going through those Tennessee trails is a testament to how well it works!
Yes it did well even though it was not really made for that environment. I think it did better climbing up one set of rocks better than the ones built for that environment. It may be because morvair is a thicker girl than the others and planted better on the trail.
@@340duster8 that moment at 18:50 made me proud for some reason. It’s not like I built it or made the climb lol
It’s too nice of a machine for that environment. It’s quite rare that Matt gets in a situation where he can cause body damage, but they were super close a number of times here.
The trip to Tennessee just shows how well built the Morvair is and still looks good
Matt, that is awesome you featuring my son with Holly's gear! It was a pleasure to meet y'all and you have made Wyatt's year!
For someone who grew up learning to ride at Windrock now living in Utah, this video is incredibly satisfying
I feel like an addict, as I have been binge watching your channel for the past 3 days. I’m a lady petrolhead Maori/New Zealander living in Australia. So your audience participation is not only USA citizens, but worldwide! I love watching all of the family and friends teamwork, you guys are awesome under Matt’s calm, encouraging and humble leadership!
Lizzy is so courageous too! Way to represent girl!
One thing I love about Matt is that he is open to trying something so out of his element. It’s nice to see some off-roading around “living things” like trees and such
Being from the east coast this warms my heart to see some east coast wheeling ❤
Too bad they never wheeled Tellico.
You eventually reap what you have sown. You and the gang have 'sown' positivity, help, compassion, assistance and many other good things. It's harvest time, I'm jus' sayin'...bless my heart.
I concur. I've lived in Utah all my life and it's weird to see "healthy" trees in different states. The first time I saw the trees in Oregon and Washington it was like being in LOTR.
@@pnw_jordan seriously though I'm orignally from Michigan lmao now live here in Northern Arizona 😂
@@pnw_jordan say you're from Oregon, and prove you haven't seen the entire state: And thanks for that... 🤦♂️
@@pnw_jordan It's almost a secret that Oregon is about 2 thirds high desert!
The trees start in Oklahoma and end about 100 yards from the Atlantic coast.
I knew this is one of the fastest growing channels I've seen watching you guys the last 2 years, you've started a sort of movement, with your collaborative methods, it's like real collaboration, not just grabbing views.
I love it, teaming up with all kinds of different channels. Its interesting because some of the other ppl ive seen on this channel link up with other CZcamsrs I watch that are completely different genre. Its so cool.
they are only giving prizes to people who give them money go watch the live stream and pay close attention they only gave prizes to people who messaged with money
I have unsubscribed. Has become more infomercial than anything.
.
AND NO POLITICS, thank effing God
Nice to see there's somebody mature minded enough to pull a winch line instead of right footing their rig to death.
I love the mini ad for the freedom winch line being able to connect itself as if your normal winch hook cant just clip onto the line..
I love how humbled he was by his fans. Good dude!
Man... the morrvair just works!! Whoever built that thing knows what they're doing loll.😁
I like how they are pretty quick to winch instead of trying too hard and breaking things.
It's amazing how effecting Matt's driving style is. You watch the others just punch it, it adds drama for sure, but also doesn't make the specific obstacle easier. Matt hit's it in the Morvair and does the usual "as much throttle as absolutely necessary" and does said obstacles without so much as a wheel slip. The huge step up, no drama whatsoever and that long rutted channel...much the same. That was awesome to watch
Yup. He’s like a low impact environmentalist who likes off-roading!
@@Dozav7 I dunno about all that. But I was more thinking much much better with finesse. Probably a lot to do with snow's low grip which can be much similar to mud.
I am from Pigeon Forge, now live in Knoxville, and really was excited to come meet you all. Unfortunately my wife a kids had Covid Wednesday before you were here and I thought it best I also quarantine. I hope you all had a great time here!!
And on todays episode, matt learns why body panels are so scarce on trail rigs east of the mississippi.
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery when you got your tires did you know that Patagonia is a region in the far southern tip of (I believe) chilli and Venezuela if I remember right but it means Bigfoot I saw that on the history channel land of the giants awhile ago and thought you would like that
“We like our trees petrified!” Cracked me up. Been through the exciting petrified forest many many years ago. Also must have said “Ooo that’s gonna leave a mark!” About a dozen times lol. Great video. Riveting!
2:41 was the most genuine laugh and smile I think I’ve seen
I think after observing those highly modified 4wheel drivers that don't even look like their original self, the Morrvair really seemed to out perform them on their own turf. No much the Morrvair couldn't handle. Some really gnarly trails that looked like a lot of fun. Great video coverage too. Wonderful fan support also there. Oh, BTW, great salesmen Lizzy!! That was a winning smile!
The Morrvair being unibody saves quite a bit of weight, if it was body on frame then yeah it would be way heavier.
The trails in east Tennessee are some of the best in the world. The views are to die for.
It's pretty Incredible you take that morvair were those rock crawlers go.
Was very happy to visit with you at the Great Smokey Mountains Jeep event. I have to say Matt and the whole crew were very friendly and took a few minutes to talk. They really are very nice people. I took a minute to diplomatically mention to Matt that maybe shutting your eyes and slightly turning your face away from spackljng arc welding was the best way of to protect your eyes and face. Matt was not offended and was happy to talk with me about it and how what he does on his channel might be received by younger, less experienced viewers. Keep up the good work!
The wheeling community is tight, it’s competitive, but respectful.
If you know a good strap, you don’t need a commercial!
Matt’s line about trees poking out of the ground… made me LAUGH OUT LOUD!
Man, Skeeter is such a good addition to the Team. I know he's been here for a bit now but still, was a great fit! Question, has anyone ever made Tucker angry? I don't think we would like him when he's angry. My son saw him on screen and asked if he played the hulk.
The Morvair is special!
Cool to see Matt come out and get some of that Tennessee Gnar !
Didnt miss a single episode for the past three years. Best offroad channel on youtube no doubt about it... Love you all from Scotland ♥️
@Matt's Off Road Recovery Welcome to the world of mud and trees, now you know why my wrecker is not as good looking as the Morvaier.
Ah, but the Morrvair hasn't lived nearly as long off road as it did on the road in its former life. Your rig has years on the Morrvair
"We like our trees petrified." Love it! While the Morrvair did fine on the trails, it also shows how environmentally specific the build is. Better watch out, Matt, you're in danger of becoming a CZcams celebrity! I also find it interesting to observe the growth of your commercial enterprises. I like that you keep everything U. S. Made, it not only keeps people here employed, it also avoids all the "supply-chain" issues we see with world-wide commerce. Hopefully, the workers making these products are earning wages they can live on without having to hold down two or three jobs (have you checked, Matt?).
"In danger of"!? He IS a youtube celebrity!
@@calebbyers no doubt, I watched his Live the other day had more than 12,000 viewers most of the hour!
Actually, for being built specifically as a mostly-desert recovery vehicle, the Morrvair is amazingly good at rock crawling.
Yeah those wings aint cheap
@@austinshackles549 yup, well built and makes good power.
Had a buddy build a 2000 Cherokee with all the goodies. He was tooling around in the mud, sand, rock, creek banks and small cliffs with A/C while everyone else was sweating their rears off. It went great just a little prone to the front end coming up on really steep climbs. Everthing extended in front and rear. With 38's it was reasonable on the highway. Nothing from my area 5-10 years ago could beat a little Toyota Tacoma on propane with 42's, cut Super Swappers. It was on its top more than once but the driver was a psycho. Ridding shotgun in it there were times........well I could've pinched a nail into with my butt.🤣🤣
Matt is a great driver when the going gets tough. I'm thinking Matt will build something soon to put into these kinda places. Can't wait to see it in action.
Great video's
Keep'em coming!
Matt's hilarious comments 😂.....
-Where the trials are... slippery. (We love our mud!)
-Did they pull all the cactus?
-You mean these trees just poke out of the ground? (That's why we carry saws)
I want Matt Straps for hauling my Razor! Rust and corrosion is just a thing in Maine we deal with (and I hate ratchet straps!)
Can't wait to get back West and ride Utah again!
Ed needs more screen time! ♥️
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all have a great day an stay safe!
Lol, love to hear Matt and crew talk about humidity in Utah. Now they know what humidity is.
Matt from ORR is the most gentle sarcastic I've ever seen.
Sure enjoy these guys. Always good with each other. No attitudes. Real life mishaps shared.
I can just hear the locals. “He took a CORVAIR up there??”
The Moorvair did really good in Tennessee wheeling I was really impressed since it was a very different terrain.
I hope to one day get the opportunity to meet Matt and the entire crew that would be an honor for me.
Keep up the great work everyone
Well done tucker for taking one for the team to get the footage
Its amazing how far your channel has come in such a short amount of time.
Boy is that Morrvair durable and flexible it was challenging for it in TN I noticed because of the all the rain and the mud and dirt on the trails not the mention the trees! Like Matt at Bleepin Jeep said he's impressed with the way the Morrvair performed! Lot's of fun and challenging obstacles and getting to meet so many people was truly amazing!
“We haven’t checked yet but I don’t think it’s gonna hold air.” 😂. Great video, thanks!
Hi Matt,
This is YK from Malaysia.
I'm your fan! And has been following you and your channel since 2020
I like your video and always support it.
Can't forget Lizzy in every episode and love her and your committees.
Welcome to our world....trees and mud!! Ya'll did a great job of clearing that chestnut oak....without a chainsaw. You and the Morrvair did great!
I love how the exhaust on the Morvair turned out, it’s sounds so damn good!👍
the sound is awsome...just a nice relaxed rumble..so sweet..
Matt, despite there being an ocean between us🇬🇧to your east coast 🇺🇸 and then the distance across to Utah, I know you have a lot of followers over here who love following your channel. Thanks for taking us along with you on your journeys, we appreciate it.
Yup! Englishman in Wales; was cringe-ING watching that ~ BRAVE moves!
Does yalls woods look like that, oaks and hardwoods, or do you have a mix of pine trees? Are there sharp rocks there, or are they smooth like where matt lives in Utah?
From Canada the same, I’m a constant viewer. The trip to the Smoky Mountains just how good you are at designing a workhorse of a vehicle, the Morvair…WOW!!!
@@privilegedwhitemale306 Got the broadleaf woodland, rocks and mud -bbut NOTHING that gnarly! You can pay to play in some extreme trail parks but most forests are now heavily guarded to prevent destruction. I started back in the late 70's when everything was much simpler and you could go mud-plugging all day without meeting anybody.
Grew out of it when I got into unimogs and discovered this;-
czcams.com/video/iSoOU0D6AxA/video.html
"I've had enough of your humid air and your trees..." LOL Matt, I moved from AZ to SC (the weather is the same as TN...maybe worse) and that spoke to me.
VERY Impressive driving as well! That was cool to see you guys hit these trails. The contrast is obvious and interesting to see. The morvair is quite the machine.
I was watching that thinking no. That looks muddy. Nope, no deep water.
I can't go back to humidity after now living in the desert SW for the second time in my life. And I was born in Houston.
"Why do you guys have things that are alive over here, what's the deal with that?"
-Skeeter
My grandfather was a coal miner that worked many years on Windrock mountain. Thanks for posting a video prompting memories of driving up the mountain with him and my dad to search for fossils around the coal mine.
Glad to see y'all made it east. I would've loved to have met everyone considering I'm only 6 hrs away, but my Leukemia won't let me play. The great content helps pass the time. My best friend took my 16 yr old boy to Bristol this weekend for Cletus and cars.
Keep working, keep playing... keep safe!
"Look what Tennessee did to the Morvair"? Matt it's a testament to you and your crew and the Morvair's build that it did the trails and the only "damage" was loosening the passenger mirror. You folks built one heck of a fine rig that wheels and works!
So few built trucks on the road even see dirt roads and yet you've built a show winning Beautiful rig that laughs at off road trails and rocks. It was a joy to watch.
"so these trees just pop up out of the ground eh?"! TOO FUNNY Matt Thank You!
You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
We absolutely loved meeting Lizzy, Skeeter, Trevor, your boy and You! I would do it all over again.
Two Matt's for the price of one!!! It's a great day.
Tennessee. My favorite state. 🥰🥰
It was great to meet all of you! Keep up the great work. Maybe head down to our neck of the woods, Jeep Beach 2023… DAYTONA, FL Baby!! 😎👍
I live in Western NC and did not find out until it was too late. But, I want to tell you that from watching your videos and learning from your explanations, I honestly feel more confident. And I stop and think before I DO something stupid. We were pulling a jeep out from just above our house, got off the road a bit and was sliding down hill. I remembered when you pulled the white jeep cherokee out from the place where the road had just fallen off. (It was scary when you were under that thing), and I knew from watching that episode, that if we did not secure it, the weight of the front end and engine would pull it right down in the hole. I thank ya Sir, for explaining the dynamics, in a very understandable and nice way... I think you saved us. And the knowledge I have gained may save my butt in the future. And HECK YEAH!~ I've got one of your stickers on the back of my Tahoe and a hat inside.
I was in Hurricane a couple of years ago and passed you on the highway, heading to a recovery. My boyfriend said "There's Matt"!~ OH MY GOSH, I wanted to turn around and follow you. But, how tacky would that have been?
But seriously, its "Hurri KANE", like two words, not one word the way y'all do it!~ 😏
Much love to you all.
Being from the east coast of Canada, these trails look more familiar than what we usually see in your videos. Nice job putting the morrvair in some hairy situations for some great video content!
HUGE Respect gained, knew you were dialed in for your area, but never thought you'd do so well on the east coast. WELL DONE SIR, WELL DONE!
Now that is an awesomely built all around beast, capable of doing almost any kind of driving. Matt, you know most straps fail not because it gets stretched to many times or more like user error. As some drivers do, they rush to get of the road and lose sight of what the strap is resting on, sharp straight edges and with all the movement from riding on a trailer the straps get cut and the loads are lost or move and have to resecured. it is a good and smart thing you did do add in the protection sleeves. These will be the best straps for those tow truck drivers or load haulers and the everyday car guy who just needs to make sure their loads are secure for those long or short trips....Awesome job Matt.
Great video! It was awesome to see the Morrvair in the Smokies!
You’re 5 miles from my house, looking at the wind mills right now. Welcome to Tennessee. Love your channel.
I watched your Tennesse story with anticipation, having been gone from there into the west for 30 years now. I'm a UT graduate, my parents and sister are buried in Kingston. The mention of Norris Dam was the final straw and I broke down ugly crying. Thank you for this visual trip back "home", I think
We're still here just as green as always! My nephew is also buried in Kingston. But I'm over a lil south of Maryville.
Thanks for visiting us here in Tennessee!✅ Loving these Matt Straps BTW!!!🏁
Matt we love you and love watching you and appreciate everything you do for the people you help do not think you do not have a LOT OF FANS
There's a reason why tennessee trail rigs are always beat to hell round here 😆
in 68 years of off roading, racing off-road, the thought of EVER leaving pavement WITHOUT a spare was never an option!
you dont like to live life on the edge do ya
@@harleythrelkeld7587 oh Lord.. that would be a hard NO!! ACTUALLY LIVING on the edge where we go would be leaving with only ONE spare!!!
@@pnw_jordan I see a lot of people at this park without spares. We have a TON of local shops that can usually be gotten ahold of to get something if someone’s in a bind. The local community here is awesome
Problems occur when you start getting over a 37" tire, weight and storage space become a problem. It's not too big of a deal when you're at an OHV park because your always in radio (because you should always have a radio) distance with the park or another rider.
You just need to find friends who run the same tire set up as you to tag along so you can use their spare.😜
Thank you MORR for staying humble through all the blessings ❤️
😂😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😮😅😅😅😅😊😊
this is nice! I really hope you continue to post these offroading ventures more! Its a good change in pace from the normal recovery videos! Hope to see more of these in the future! Great stuff Matt!
Another great video! I believe channels like yours are the future of television. I don’t watch anything on normal tv. I only watch CZcams channels. Keep up the great work!!!
Super glad to see the new straps are made in the USA!!! Good call Matt!!!
Man the Morvair almost keeping up with a full rear-steer buggy is amazing
I came out to the jeep invasion but the humidity was up and I got sick in the heat so we had to leave early, I have a pacemaker and I get down from the heat pretty quick. hopefully next time you're in the area I'll get to meet ya and get your autograph, I enjoyed the 4 wheeling footage in the video! I hope you liked our rough sand, rocks, trees, mud and humidity. you were only about an hour from my house at the sand mines, Great video as always, thanks and God Bless!
Such a positive and wonderful group. I'd get my walker and stand out in the sun to meet you all.
Subbed a few years ago. Probably when you had 80k subs or so. Been watching every episode and it feels like I know you and your crew personally lol. You and your crew are amazing. The show where people were lined up is a true testimony of how a person’s personality could make people wait for hours to say hello. We want MORR!
8:28 "we like our trees petrified" lol 🤣🤣😂🤣
For not being set up as a rock crawler the MORRVAIR did superb. especially with that purty body it has.. the wheeling out east is a whole different game
1. Terrific trails 2. Great driving 3. Awesome rigs 4. Fantastic BFG tires!!!
Fab Rats and trail mater run BFG, but everyone in this video was running Milestar Patagonias (MORRvair, Bleepin' Jeep) or Interco TSLs (Comanche, Bronco).
They run Milestars. I think they’d do a lot better on some BFG KM3s myself or even Swamper SX like that Bronco had. I had a set of those Patagonia’s and thought they were terrible. They had Thin sidewalls, traction wasn’t great in anything but maybe sand.
You know Robby is somewhere watching this video just hurting 😂 poor guy
Some of the best off roading footage Iv seen. Insane stuff !
That obstacle at 17:41 is called ‘The Grinch’ such a fun spot. I absolutely love the sand mines.
It was awesome to meet all you guys in Tennessee. I hpoe the humidity didn't melt you too bad, especially Lizzy.🤣 Now when you give a weather report maybe you can tell what the humidity is so we will know if you are just hot or actually melting. 🤣🤣
Usually I don't like ads, that's why I pay CZcams extra. But your pitch for the straps was hilarious! Really good editing and Ed laughing at the right time. It seemed half satirical and was definitely funny! 😅 And of course the straps look really cool! 🙂
And with Jayme and Lizzy playing tug-o-war with the MattStrap, if it didn't break then, it will certainly hold a vehicle down! Great & funny ad.
3:25 I love his musical instruments on the wall! The trombone the trumpet the electric guitars bass guitar acoustic guitar really really cool!!! Coolest “office” Iv seen
Welcome to the east my friend! Mud , ruts, trees big hills. All the good things in life
