- “Challengers,” from writer-director Luca Guadagnino, is our favorite performance from the ever-talented Zendaya, but she isn’t alone. Mike Fast and Josh O’Connor equally deliver to create a three-piece ensemble that propels us through one of the year's most exciting films. That final scene where Patrick puts the ball in the special place (ifykyk) was absolutely jaw-dropping. What Luca did was phenomenal please go see this film if you haven't already!!!
From the first time Challengers Trailer was released months ago, I was so excited for this film. Because it's Luca Guadagnino and because it's Zendaya. But now I'm even more excited thanks to you guys!

On Kevin's question about the parentage of the kid, it was answered in a way that it didn't matter to Art, when Zendaya's character found Art sleeping next to the kid, after she went out met with Pat the night before the match; and the kids age coincides with the Atlanta tryst, and Art knew about that.
As a tennis fanatic myself, it pains me neither Gabe or Kevin are not LOLOL

28:14 that suana scene with Patrick’s devious but slight little smirk, and he’s like sarcastically like “I don’t know why she wants me man” . Its so intense, and subtly acted. The filming so slow and intentional. it was my favorite scene🎉
The game was so funny, looking forward for the second part!
Been enjoying the spiderman re-releases past few weeks in theaters. I go with my younger bro on opening day at our local AMC. Poster in 1 hand, and popcorn in the other with a hyped crowd who's cheering and clapping at the iconic moments. So much fun. Have a good weekend boys.

I actually counted the seconds in my head during the last tennis point , because it felt like that’s what they were doing, when zendayas character said that for those 15 seconds you’re in love. But it was more like 25 ish seconds (there’s was also slomo at the very end.
I don’t believe there’s marvel fatigue, I think it’s just that their quality had gone down for some of the projects and feige was stretched thin. No one ever says theirs action movie fatigue or drama movie fatigue. You make quality movies and most of the time people will like them and see it.
They’re not trying as hard as they used to
Ok. I also like to see a movie with as little info as possible and I'm watching Challengers tomorrow in the cinema so I'll come back to this episode later (it dropped yesterday here in Seoul, Korea)

No lie. I had to switch it off the first time listening to it. If there's one thing that I can't handle on podcasts, it's cross-talk and people interrupting each other.
