Leyland DAF T244 Overland Expedition Vehicle Build - Removal of the bumper (moustache)

  • Hi all. In this video, I show how I removed my front bumper (moustache) and 2 of the bolts were a bit of a nightmare. Here is how I did it, though using a 3/8" socket is not advisable on such a large, stuck bolt, it was the only thing in my toobox that would fit. It worked for me, anyhow! When removed, I could see the extent of the rush that had built up in the mounting area. Not good. So I will have to get the bumper parts fixed by a local fabricator.

    I am turning my ex British Army lorry into an expedition vehicle / overland truck.
