In this case. however, he's (ENTIRELY HONESTLY) got his wires crossed. Nigel Farage did not say Putin ever required an "excuse" to invade Ukraine or anywhere else. His meaning, which he's since made explicitly plain, was that what (principally the EU and the Obama govt's) interferences in Ukraine DID supply Putin with, was something he could use as an "excuse" when addressing THE RUSSIAN PEOPLE.

His three examples of Putin grabbing land, were no argument at all. Georgia was just misinfo, since Georgia sent troops across the Russian border in the beginning and got booted right back out and routed back into their own country by chasing Russian forces, not an invasion, Russia then left again and Georgia is still a sovereign country.
Crimea was after the Euro maidan and they asked to join Russia in a referendum, even then Crimea is still only a protectorate and governs itself. It also appears quite happy with it's decision.
Then this one which is the culmination of everything the West has been up to in the region and far from clear cut, since Donbass asked for help, much like the humanitarian missions we supposedly undertook with all these nations that we have, 'spread democracy' in.
So that's the grand total of the evidence that Russia is expansionist is it, 3 very questionable events? How does that stack up to our joint pile of jolly jaunts into so many countries it's hard to keep count? This channel, honestly, it's no different to the mainstream media, infact it's worse because it pretends it anti-mainstream.

@@timg1246 Your lack of knowledge is overwhelming. The UK (and it's territories) have been part of NATO since 1949 - when it was founded. NATO's remit is to protect other countries in NATO. ie; attack one, attack us all. As always NATO does nothing, and that is why NATO unofficially stands for ''No Action Talk Only''. Hope this helps you.
