I bought one new in 2015. Valve clearances were too tight from the factory. Ignition switch failed 3 times but each replacement came with a gas cap to keep the key matching. The Ignition box failed twice and the only way to check it was to put on a new one. The speedometer broke at 8k miles. Upgrade the chain is a must.
I love mine, great bike!
Nice nice dual sport bike
Can you please make a video of your showroom?
My daughter just got one today 2023 for 1800 from our local dealer. I dont know if someone messed up but im not complaining with the tax and title, plates, and dealer setup it was 2800. Just one question on the header pipe can you delete that emission box?
I really love this bike so can you suggest me how can I purchase this bike because I'm from India.. please give some suggestions
I'm new to bikes and I'm very short was wondering about the seat height
35” but it seems lower than that IMO. It also has a nice plush rear shock. Set your sag when you buy the bike and you’ll probably be ok.
I think the hawk dlx is fuel injected and has inverted forks for $2000. Why is the ssr so much more money? Both Chinese
The Hawk does have the EFI advantage. We recommend SSR because they have 100% parts support through a nation-wide dealer network. SSR is established and has a reputation of supporting what they sell for years.
Because it have different materials and quality built, the frame of the SSR is aluminum and, it have compression adjustable inverted forks 8 inches travel, the hawk dlx is 229cc and ssr is 249cc, hawk dlx is 11hp and ssr is 18hp, SSR have cdi ignition which is lot better, maybe the best ignition in modern engines, and HAWK DLX have ecm ignition that's why the hawk is fuel injected, fuel injected on motorcycles its not same as in cars, only the name, fuel injected on motorcycles is more like advanced carburetor, maybe on high end bikes are better, spare parts, service, ect....and the ssr is benelli kinda so that ads to the price....
The weld on that swing arm?😔
Seen the same one japanese bikes sad really but now says it's not a surprise.
just buy a used tw200. pretty much same horsepower on a 30 year old proven setup.
Price is excessive!
$3459? 👎👎👎👎👎🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️
Lol, I might order a Hawk.
You can get a Suzuki TW200 for $5000
Check all the stuff good on both bikes the hawk and ssr, the hawk is not nearly good as the ssr with specs, materials, ect..for the money the stuff and specs you get on the ssr are lot more better than the hawk, you cant compare it much...also ssr is benelli so that also adds to the price i guess...and I do get it that you find the price high, plus the market adds up on the price too, the class this bike is ment for is cheaper than the other brands in the same class with it, same as beneli...but it makes a difference, i think this bike is lot better from lot of aspects compared to the hawk....
Again I understand that the price seems high for a new brand, but compared to the other brands in his class, this one is the cheapest...so ssr is beneli, and beneli is good quality chinese brand same as royal einfield which is indian brand, same as kymco a korean brand, cove also chinese and all this brands are in different class from hawk dlx...ssr, beneli, royal einfield, kymco are in a class with brand bikes yamaha, honda, suzuki, bmw, ect ect...so in their class they are the cheapest one you can get....they all make quality bikes higher class cheap bikes...
