Tua has been this player all his life. Not a bad player. Just physically brittle and so consistent that it's boring. Doesn't win in the post season in the NFL. Should get $100 million guaranteed in this market.

Tua is one of those QBs it is hard to figure out what you should do with. On one hand, he can consistently (when healthy that is) get your team above .500, and even get you to the playoffs. This side of the coin makes it hard to move away from this sort of QB. On the other hand though, it is clear he struggles against the elite teams of the NFL, and can't really get you past the 1st round of the playoffs. This side of the coin says to try and fine someone better. Really, the Dolphins could do much worse than Tua, but also do better than Tua. Do you look to fix the rest of your team and keep a solid QB like Tua, or do you want a top 10 QB, in which case might need to move on from Tua.
Agreed and Tua only looks decent cause of his weapons that he can't elevate or beat the good teams with. I'm a fins fan and never wanted an injury prone qb in top 5

At 16m a year, I still don't get why KSC did not go out and sign DH. Wha a beast of RB. He would have accepted less money to come to the chiefs and Veach could have easily found space in the salary cap.

He's ability to do quick reads, accuracy, quick release is outstanding, but his arm strength is a major issue. Hopefully he improves it.
They are running a version of Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colt quick passing game offensive. The problem with that kind of offensive your defensive get worn out because it on the field all the time. They need to get their offensive line better and get a better ground and pound running game to give them a rest and ware down the defensive in 4 quarter.

Every good quarterback gets elite money. What’s the success rate for a team that loads everything else and gets a mid level or rookie QB? Is the success rate the same?

@@bryangonzalez4604he's accurate and has good anticipation, but he dies not have good pocket presence and more often that not just turtles when things break down and he often fumbles. And when he actually does escape the pocket, his accuracy goes out the window, and head scratching throws and interceptions occur. When Tua is forced to hold the ball, things go bad. That's why he's not an elite QB. He can't make off script plays like Mahomes, Allen and Burrow do almost effortlessly. He's not the guy, he's just a guy.

But also tua does get some blame but most of the blame imo is on the bad OL we have and our bad play calling but with the schedule how I see it on paper I think will win like 12-13 games since bills ain’t going to do nothing since Allen is nothing without diggs. If he wins a playoff game and lead us to a SB like Marino did and is Voted an All Pro then a lot of people won’t hate Tua as much as you hate him now. Things could change because he’s leaner and gonna get more mobile and that could help us win some games. It was the defense that held him back and what does Tua have now a defense but what does he not have a good OL something Marino had for years under Shula. Tua statistically his numbers were great thanks for his head coach and the players around him but Tua needs to play better in the playoffs. If the Ravens want to win the SB Lamar has to showed up in the playoffs. He has choked and underwhelmed in the 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2023 playoffs. Herbert’s new head coach is 2-7 in bowl games as a college coach and 1-3 in Championship Games as an NFL coach. STINKY!
