I greatly admire your persistence, man! I think my mind would be wandering after an hour at this time of the year! Great video. At least the kelt woke you up from daydreaming and gave a second or two of tense excitement (could it be? No? Yes?)😮 👍
Thanks, it's a hard slog in the early Spring but I enjoy it and these early springers are the ultimate prize if you're lucky enough to catch one. Tight lines, James
@@soultrader57fishingandmusi25 Yeh, I've got a video from the Kyle and have fished it a few times. I found the best pools for me were the honeypot just above the junction and under the bridge for sea trout especially.
You were at Lindies. Drastically changed since Storm Frank. Where you are standing used to be only 20yds wide, and there was a flight of steps and big croy below you, and a concrete island mid stream below that....now all gone
@@iainwilson9269 Interesting to hear what it was like. Drew was anticipating it becoming a decent pool again after this winters changes as it had some depth of about 5 - 6 feet in places close to the bank.

@jpsflyfishing did you do one on the Kyle of Sutherland? I'm going there in June for sea trout hopefully

Another great one, I'm hooked! Must ask what happened to the Labs, tail I'm guessing been in the beating line
He cut his tail and then it became infected so had to be amputated unfortunately, poor thing but all happy now
It happens he seems happy enough and a typical Lab
