Hey man I just picked a used car trailer and the trailer tire have some camber while hard turning on uneven terrain with a load. Is this “normal” for a tandem axle? Or are my axles bent? Otherwise the tire drive straight down the road with and without a load. Any help would be appreciated😊

The axle, wheel and tire all flex on turns, especially with a load. As long as everything is straight when pulling in a straight line, you are OK. if the tires have positive camber (top of tire tips out slightly) when towing empty, you likely have Dexter axles. Helps stabilize the trailer when empty, and when loaded. Otherwise, negative camber (tire tipped in at the top) can cause the trailer to "wander" and not pull straight. On uneven terrain, unless you have torsion axles, when one end of the axle moves up, the other end goes down, changing camber on both ends. Hope that helps without being too complicated.
