  • Beati quorum via Op. 38, No. 3 by Charles Villiers Stanford (b. in Dublin, Ireland 1852, died 1924), is the last of his Three Latin Motets composed in 1905. This particular motet is a setting of Psalm 119:1, which reads: "Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to God's teachings."

Hello! This is a live recording by Vox Humana, a professional choir for which I am the Founder and Artistic Director. We are based in Dallas, TX, however, the ensemble is comprised of artists from across the US. Thanks for your comment!! David Childs.

@@Drdchilds69 .I sang first-baritone on this, but the sopranos really make or break it. It has nicely colored harmonies. I hear all of that here. Live? Wow.
Greetings from Charleston, SC. Maybe I will get to hear you someday.

@@lloydbowers8997 Hi Lloyd! I hope you do get to hear us. Like all vocal ensembles we are struggling to adapt, but adapt we must. We are about to embark on a virtual choir project and hope to post details of the 'concert' on our website soon. We are so desperate to meet in choral fellowship and also to reach out to those who are yearning for the choral arts. Thanks for taking the time to show interest in us. Best, David.
