- This was a great flight with the (DeMarco) DJI Mini 2 SE. Ron Brown and I were on an overwater walkway behind the Best Western Intracoastal Inn in Jupiter, Florida. We launched from the walkway and got a look at some amazing homes on the waterway. The Mini 2 SE handled the high winds just fine. I hope you enjoy it! Hi Marcus and Ron. I have three points about this presentation. First, you two must have an in with the Jupiter Police or you would be arrested for having too much fun. Second, this video shows that people don’t have to spend $3,000 to have fun with a drone and get descent quality video. And third, I was glad to see the boat (Demarco Yacht) (Johnnie Yacht) going slowly down the Intracoastal-that has to be a no wake zone and a boat that size could do damage to the shore line and the piers of the locals. Fun as always guys!

*I know exactly where that's at. It continues as a walking/biking trail when you get back on land. Bikes are prohibited on the section you are on. I've flown my drone over that section as well. Nice location to catch some boats passing by.*

I haven't looked at my video yet, but I didn't remember it being that overcast the day we flew here. Great flight with the new Mini 2 SE, this wonderful secret flying location right behind the Best Western, and who know. i heard the those big houses on the water and the yachts passing by are mostly owned by CZcams Stars. I am from Germany and I want to visit the US in the summer time. I read that flying with a drone is only permitted in a visual line of sight. Is it true? In your videos it looks like further away.

Here in Florida the reason all the houses have boat slips that lift out of the water is because of the Barnacles. With in a year the whole bottom would be covered if they didn't plus it can help in some storms if they are not to big. I am all way up in the North Panhandle and the Inter-coastal waterway goes all the way from the Southern tip to the Northern End of Florida. You can travel the whole state by boat without ever getting in the Gulf or Ocean. All thanks to our great Army Corp of Engineers

Noticed in certain sections where you were "yawing" the video seemed to be a little "fuzzy", like it couldn't keep up, then it would get clear and vice versa until you stopped. Is that because of the reduced bitrate of the SE (40) versus the higher (100) of the Mini 2? Have also seen this in some other YT's videos of the SE. (watching in 1440 HD)

Hey, just out of curiosity, does the mavic mini 2 se have remote id built in by chance. I know the regular mini 2 doesn't have remote id, but I don't know about the se version. If I do buy a new drone, I will probably have to consider ones with remote id already built in. Yeah I haven't been back to Florida myself since 2019. Didn't have a drone of my own back then, but will consider bringing one of the drones I have (probably the mini 2 unless if I have a higher grade drone by then whenever thsr is) on future trips
To my knowledge it does not have RID, but that does not mean that DJI may not add it at any time.
I own this drone for 2 weeks. Only thing I didn't like is that the gimbal is not smooth when you turn the drone around just a bit fast.
You have to turn the drone slowly to get a clear shot. Maybe it will work better in FPV mode.
Yes, that yaw rate is adjustable in the app. 👍
