Love you're videos dude. When I first started watching videos like yours I didn't have a drone. Now I do have a drone, I just had to get a DJI mini 4 pro and I love it. Kids these days don't know how lucky they are. Now I'm an oldish man 60ish again I feel like a kid again buzzing round the sky with this little drone is just AMAZING 🚁👍

The mini 2 behaves almost identical to the newest mini 4k they just released, right? Range should be identical too?

I keep a UV filter on my Air 2S all the time just for the reason you mentioned. I’ve noticed that you can't stack filters. I.e. an ND 64 plus a polarizer. Why is that? The only reason that makes sense to me is that the gimbal cant handle the weight.

ND filters are a must for the Avata 2 especially at low levels to capture that motion blur. Nice overview of the Freewell filters Marcus . The ND/PL filters would be a great addition especially if you want to fly around and over water.

Nice testing of the new filters from Freewell. I always fly the Avata with at least a 8ND filter on it, otherwise your shutter will be running very high. And I'm sure they will come out with a ND/PL set of filters in the near future. Great video Marcus, thanks for sharing.

Have you tried flying the Avata 2 with the FPV controller in standard/sports mode. I believe it will fly as it does with the joy stick (motion controller) I bought the FPV controller for when I feel comfortable enough to try Manual mode.

I did enjoy seeing in real life setting how the filters react.

Use that little cloth to install the filters for a smudge free experience. Does the gimbal protector fit over the filters?

I got one for £170, but believe me a drone is just a drone, they ain't worth the cost if you buy them new or nearly new for say £200, I would just get a larger model.

Hi Marcus. I know why you were having do much flight control problems. At 13:20 while you were in the menu, you set the fight distance to unlimited, but did not press the save button, so it reverted back to a maximum distance of 30M. You were flying with a 30m geofence. Maybe give the drone 1 more shot after correcting that. and after you get your sd card out! I got to say, after flying dji's, that sure is jumpy video.
