@shedmouthjunction7249 Yes indeed, the last British locomotive near me returned to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in 1989. SR 926 Class V, "Repton" She was in Vermont, USA, when I was a kid. I live in Massachusetts. The collection she was part of moved to Pennsylvania after the owner died. Repton was running in Canada by that time.

Loved the video. looks like you both had a good day. I too have never seen one of these engines in steam and they are my favourites.

Thank you so much for watching. It was a brilliant moment seeing a Bulleid for the first time. A truly awesome sight. Funny enough It was Evie's first time seeing a steam loco of that physical size and she did say she felt quite intimidated by its size and sound. A moment she will probably never forget.

fantastic video and very enjoyable , the austerity is in the longmoor military railway livery ,, a long gone British army establishment , part of the royal corps of transport now the logistics corps ,, it is well worth reading up on as it was a fascinating place used to train the army to run the railway incase of war ,, quite a large area that had everything the railway had like signal boxes , stations etc etc ,, there will be videos of it on you tube
