Personally i love this episode. Each player explains theirs card thoroughly especially Larry. As a newbie it helps me a lot into knowing each cards played and how it effect the board. 🙂

Oh cool!! I was one of the people that requested a proxy deck. Thanks for showing everyone that you can still have a cool edh deck even if you can't afford it! Just another step towards including everyone. Also I'm glad Lynch now knows the pain of cutting out 100 cards lol

I'm also a proxy player. My pain is cutting the corners on proxy cards. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get perfect corners, so they perfectly match up to the card back.

For just playing among friends without any prize on stake, proxies are just fine: people should not be forced to go through a significant financial investment just to play casual card games.
To be honest, if I'm not playing at my place, I often use proxies of cards I actually own as I don't like going around the city or in public places with thousands of dollars that can be lost or stolen.
This is now my favorite MTG show. Awesome builds and graceful players +salt for days! Keep up the awesome content!
I dont know if this was done before, but you could also do a pauper commander round once. Might be entertaining :D

Came across this cus I was looking for Zurgo deck inspiration, wasn’t expecting this to be such a fun and wholesome watch, I ended up staying for the whole video! The vibes from everyone is SO good, everyone seems so kind and nice, despite being competitive and trying to win. My favorite way to play games in general right there

Larry's comments about most metal card artworks make me think of Indestructible Aura, with Mark Poole art featuring a falcon headed dude in some kind of chitinous armor (I think?), arms crossed and throwing double horns as a fireball and ice blast bounce off him. To me that's the most metal artwork on a Magic card.

This episode was really great it had good laughs good interactions and full of suspense i really didnt know who would win until the very end and this decks all performed well. Sky wasnt physically but in spicy spirit.

A Charms deck slots nicely into Larry's penchant for combining powerful staples to gain resources and narrow answers to interact. Obviously tutors can reduce the variance in a Highlander format, but when you use them to interact with your opponents and do things like enabling an opponent's Haste creature to kill a troublesome Planeswalker...that's just *chef's kiss*. But also, knowing when to not use removal in order to make others spend their answers is critical to playing towards wins.

Enjoyable episode: good interactions among the players and the decks were spicy but also interesting to see in action, and while Smothering Tithe and Rhystic Study made their appearances, the game wasn't just a predictable staple-fest.
Love the fact that the channel plays with proxies. I know proxies are in a bit of a grey area but I’m all for it. More power to proxies.
I'm pretty fine with them depending on when someone is using them, like making the deck even for the table, but counterfeit/fakes are becoming more acceptable to people online and it's really annoying me.
Christian looks like he came in straight from 1938, and I am all for it
