As someone who has a Raggadragga deck. Viridian Joiner or any dork that taps to add green equal to it's powe and Wurmcalling are an infinite combo with Ragga out

I want that deck list for the prismatic bridge so bad. That seems like such a well designed list. The Nico win con to get around the one ring is iconic.
The salt from Lynch from the 20 minute mark on makes this episode worth watching. GG!
The actual card that won this game was the unanswered Consecrated Sphinx. Just like Rhystic Study, uninterrupted card draw engines let their owners take away the game so I think in hindsight, that should have been removed (if targeted removal was available)
This was the most dominate game i think i have watched...and so cool of a Victory also. Pretty cool.

I have a Prismatic Bridge superfriends deck I built, but want to build a good stuff deck as well! This seems like a great version.
The best way to look at commander is that it's a designation that only applies to your commander card.
Nice game, the Prismatic Deck obviously is superstrong, wouldn't be something for me though, but I really loved seeing that alternate win-con (: also master multiplied seems like a fun and unique deck.
Only seemed the game lacked a bit of removal :D

Man that ragga deck was painfully slow to watch. I have that deck, mine is 30 lands 42 mana dorks, and the last 27 being card draw, haste, and interaction. Iv closed out games turns 4-5 with good hands. And turn 7-8 on a decent hand. Flooding the board and overrunning.
Neat, so you don't run spells into Raggadragga's last ability, and just use a flood of mana dorks as cheap strong creatures? I kind of like that idea. I have a Raggadragga deck of my own but am running some big stuff.
I run a spellslinger Raggadragga deck with X spells and it can pop off pretty quick. He almost had an infinite combo with Viridian Joiner and Wurmcalling...infinite wurms with ever increasing size

Hi can someone explain to me why the original The Master, Multiplied dosnt have to be sacrificed to the legend rule ? after all his abilites only apply to his tokens.
The legend rule says that if a player controls more than one legendary permanent with the same name that have to put all but one of those permanents in the graveyard. It's a state-based effect so it is constantly being checked in the game to see if a player is breaking the rule. Since The Master, Multiplied says the "legend rule" doesn't apply to the tokens he makes, the game doesn't count the tokens as breaking the rule. If the rule isn't being broken then there's nothing making Lynch put the original in the graveyard.
Hopefully that makes a little more sense when it's written out, magic can be confusing lol

In particular, the exact rule is this:
"704.5j If two or more legendary permanents with the same name are controlled by the same player, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is called the “legend rule.”"
Note how the rule says "two or more legendary permanents with the same name". If this rule doesn't apply to tokens (due to The Master, Multiplied's effect), then you don't control two or more legendary permanents with the same name to which the rule applies.
On the other hand, if you run multiple copies of The Master, Multiplied in some deck for some reason (probably for another format), and you cast more than one of them, the legend rule _does_ apply to the nontoken variants and you'll only be able to keep one. The same applies to clone effects on cards that don't remove the legendary supertype (e.g., Phantasmal Image): if you have one of those enter as a copy of The Master, Multiplied, they will see each other and you'll only be able to keep one.

@@maxleveladventures my esika is built for Centurion commander tho. It's basically a control reanimator, with the best creatures for 1v1 (ashen rider, agent of threachery, griselbrand ecc). It's a shame i cant find the decklist of that deck tho..

Even though i usually like disgusting plays, i played too much brawl to enjoy seeing prismatic bridge gaining the gamewinning position. However, i agree with you guys: you just can't get mad at someone winning with my buddy nicky B.

I'm still in the early stages of the game (just after Vahan casts Prismatic Bridge) but my god Sean's threat assessment is awful.

Could not agree more. His attacks made no sense. He kept focusing on Lynch and Manny…accusing them of being dangerous…when he was passing the turn to Vahan with the Prismatic Bridge on the table and a grip of cards in hand (17 or more if I recall correctly) WITH the Consecrated Sphinx still on the board. I’m baffled!!!
Besides an attack for 4 damage or an attack that would loose multiple creatures what more could've been done?
I mean, his first trigger of bridge got him a Ramos, how was he suppose to know it was going to be a creature with "ramp" on it, along with knowing he had a 5 color card in hand to get the max ramp?
I think the poor judgement came from the two guys saying "boardwipe" and he was forced to change his plan when they kept saying that. And guess what? since no one played much into the bluff of the boardwipe from Vahan, he took advantage of that bluff that was created, to advance his board.

It would be nice to see lynch play some personal decks. I don’t have a problem with proxies but all lynch plays now is proxie decks. Early IHYD days lynch would always play sweet stuff.
Can someone please explain to me why the doomskar didnt kill Vahan's creatures too?
He tutored for avacyn previous turn. Mono white angel makes all his creatures indestructible
Avacyn made all of his permanents indestructible
Vahan had Avacyn on his board which made all his permanents indestructible.
Among all the other stuff he put on the field, he got an Avacyn, Angel of Hope. It is Indestructible and has the ability "Other permanents you control have indestructible".
So all his stuff was indestructible, letting him boardwipe with impunity.
Vahan owns an Avacyn, Angel of hope at this point which reads : All permanents you control have indestructible. Keeping his board while destroying theirs was nasty tho
Not to add to the fire 🔥, but Sean has horrible board assessment or he had a personal vendetta against Lynch.
Vahan with a masterful win… card draw against 0 removal equals the win if you have the cards in your deck.

Is there no limit to how many times you can equip and move the grieves. I thought it was a once per turn action
You have to pay the cost each time but because the cost to equip Greaves is 0, as long as there is a legal target it's all good.
If there is a legal target for them to be equipped at sorcery speed there is technically no limit. But at some point you are going to have to take a game action moving the game forward.

30:09 - Wouldn't Lynch still control his equipped commander? Because he had protection from white blue and green. Then he would still control a legendary creature for the Bolas lose-con.
No, protection doesn’t work with general effects like Doomskar. You can use DEBT as a reminder for protection: damaged, enchanted, blocked or targeted

Destigmatise targetted land destruction! I'm not saying to run out and put Armageddon in all of your decks, but you need at least a few removal cards that can destroy or exile a single land card, and don't feel bad playing them. Commander has just gotten to the point where some Lands are as good, if not better than other permanents on the board. They can and will win a game.
And remember that some cards can destroy other things too, if you don't want to run dedicated land destruction. (The new Boseiju remains an excellent card, to nobody's surprise.)
It's always funny to see each player playing a proactive deck with next to 0 interaction and leave a creature like Sphinx on the battlefield the entire game. It drew like 30 cards lol. It sucks to have interactive pieces in your deck instead of cards helping you get your engine online, but if you don't, things like that will happen and you will lose because of it at the end of the day.
Yall let that happen by not getting rid of the sphinx as soon as possible. Gg Vahan
Sean had infinite worms and didn't even realize it. It wouldn't have mattered though because Vahan board wiped on his next turn.
He could also have given infinite power to everyone on the field and trample, then he could just hit each opponent with a creature and win

I don't get what was so beautiful, he tutored twice for wincon cards and won with a wincon. That's the whole point of tutors and wincons.

Vorinclex gives planeswalkers double loyalty counters just from casting planeswalkers?
They get the counters as a result of an ETB, not as a result of casting them.
It’s the same reason doubling season is used in superfriends decks too
Unbound flourishing says CAST. You do not cast a copied spell, so only the original would double the value of x with magia's ability.
A copy inherits all aspects of the original
Basically since flourishing is a replacement effect, it changes the characteristics of the spell before magus can even try to trigger, so when she DOES trigger, she sees that its a stonecoil that was “cast for x=8”
Unbound Flourishing is _not_ a replacement effect; it's a triggered ability. It goes on the stack and resolves.
That being said, I'm not entirely sure about how this works, but my intuition is that the copied spells do _not_ copy the doubled value. The doubling of X isn't a replacement effect; it's a continuous effect modifying a characteristic of an object (the spell in question). This isn't part of the object's copiable values, so it shouldn't be copied by copy effects.
Not that it would've made any difference here, really.

this is why you play more removal including exile effects sad watching him just dominate the whole game with no interaction

Bruh, no one didnt kill Vahans card advantage.. and thats what happens when you let untapping Prismatic bridge.. Greedy players... Still good episode and learning curve for others that enchantment/artifact removal is needed in Commamder

how would handle this if went first and cast 2 mtg ankh of mishra turn one and hollowing mine. then turn 2 cast orb of dreams and shouldered the apocalypses. then storm cauldron on turn 3. then turn 4 umbilicus

Minor misplay at 29:25, with X=3 on the Wurmcalling the mana cost of the spell is 4. Unless buyback works differently than Strive or Kicker mechanics, the three mana isn’t added to the mana cost of the spell, right?

Honestly, while the win was spicy, Sean's braindead plays kind of ruined the game for me, along with the next issue:
The obviously strong PRISMATIC BRIDGE player completely ignored for zero reason, and not a single piece of interaction from anybody at the table. Watching a Prismatic Bridge player stomp a game because there was zero interaction isn't a compelling watch, and this is what happens virtually every time a bridge player is allowed to do whatever they want.
Don't have a bridge deck on the channel again if everyone else isn't going to pack interaction, because they end up being complete non-games like this.
Love the channel, almost always love the content, I'm a Patreon subscriber....but this game wasn't it. Such a spicy win wasted on a game of this calibre, sad to see.

Why does lynch ask if its okay to play universes beyond commander i mean they are legal in the format 😅 thats like asking if youre okay if i play a legendary creature as my commander? Like duh those are the rules. You asking implies theres something wrong with that when there absolutely isnt. Like bro they make commader precons w universes beyond commanders. Yes its okay and if youre not okay with it then LEAVE
The reason I do that is because some Magic players only want to play Magic cards that are within Magic lore. As you know, I’m cool with people playing whatever Magic cards they have. I try to help show how easy it is to just talk it out.

After the backlash from the walking dead secret lair Wizards started putting that different holo at the bottom of universe beyond cards so that Magic players that are offended by Universe beyond cards could easily spot that so they don’t have to play with them. I’m with you. It’s a game. Let’s have fun playing the game. Im excited for the marvel set next year too. I hope we get lots of X men.
