Etsy has essentially, killed its own website. Buyers are leaving, sellers are leaving, sellers often buy supplies from other Etsy sellers, they are screwing themselves on both ends.
@brandcreators Do you have a suggestion for a shop that creates personalized and custom items. We make everything ourselves form scratch. But, we allow the customer to choose quotes, fonts colors etc. Its impossible to try to post a finished product before we know what our customer wants it to say. How do we get around the YOUR TEXT HERE part to be able to allow our customer to know they choose the wording etc? This has thrown us for a loop as its 80% of our business to customize.
My shop is very similar, I add number to designs and I ask what number ,what saying ,what colors in the notes
thank you!!! do you think it would be bending the rules if the mock ups said something like "a custom t-shirt just for you!" etc.. I am trying to think of good alternatives for my listings that say "your custom text" but also want to get the point across...

@brandcreators What category for bundles where one item is personalised, ie: a personalised letter with a mass produced gift bag?
The category isn't chosen by you, it's chosen by Etsy when you fill in the questions during listing creation. Since you have a gift basket, that's actually a specific option and should be selected.

I buy clearance lines of greeting cards and make unique bundles - packs only available from me. Is this supply or maybe vintage does this pass as a sellable product?
I was selling prompts they deactivated my listings yet there are still so many sellers selling prompts on Etsy still. Why they haven’t removed their listings as well I don’t know? Pretty much the same they are prompts.
3:53 Wait a minute. If I buy a commercially available 3D design (3D data) from a designer on the internet and print it with my 3D printer, is it not allowed to sell it on Etsy? Is this prohibited?

Etsy is ENDLESS... there's always something changing or a new requirement or something. Thanks for the short vid.
The way Etsy does business. 10 sellers opened their shop on Etsy 12 of them were closed, that is what Etsy does, they seem to close more shops than the entire nations of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Santa Lucia islands. Why bother with Etsy or should we give it a try.
