Thanks Pete for the awesome videos
Absolutely beautiful paint/body work! 👍 I love the color you chose as well.
Thanks Jim, it is the original color which is FK5 - Deep Burnt Orange
Pete, AMAZING 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great to here from you and you’re projects. I hope to here more from you soon😊
Thanks, A lot coming up very soon. I am hoping every week from now on.😃
That sounds good 👍
Beautiful! (Tough break on the mirrors. It drives home the mantra: "Test fit, test fit, test fit." Even though it takes time, it is best to assemble and disassemble many times before paint.) I can see how the mirrors could be overlooked though.....
Yes, in this case, I assumed the mirrors that were on the doors when I got the car were the original mirrors (they looked the same). But found out later they were off a Mustang from the same era! Woops! But in the end, it turned out fantastic, which is the important thing :)
@@digitalpizza1 Funny. Mustang mirrors. A lot can happen to a car in half a century. Looks great for sure!
Question? Why didn’t you paint the interior as well. That way the entire car is sealed and brand new?
Hi Paul, because that is all original paint on the interior. I believe you keep it original to prove that this car has never had rust or rust repair. Original paint proves that beyond a shadow of dought. It all gets covered up anyway, but you can't duplicate originality.
@@digitalpizza1 I did not think about that….good idea if there is no rust to ruin your good work…thanks
