it works even better beacuse, 95% of 15 is .75 so the game is merciful and round it up to 1 xD

A broken passive ability on darcy is the one that heals you when you kill someone with a skill. You'll never need to worry about your health. Also her base normal skill is a teleport not a parry, she teleports to the nearest enemy and deals some pretty good damage it can clear rooms quickly if you lower one person then just spam it
if you want the most broken set-up I know go select KIl and get his Chainsawblade skill called : Top Roll, max it out. get all the crit dmg/chance from ice and get the ice augmentation for your weapon. main stats to look for to boost is crit dmg/chance and increase dmg on main weapon skill. you can literally blitz through everything in seconds, even Plantos.
I call it the god-run.
I did a run where I literally only focused on normal attacks and ended up with like 250% normal attack damage by the end of it making it a genuinely insane run.

The few runs I've done with Darcy were pretty crazy. Gale blade is by far her best DPS ability. Get it to lvl4 and it can be spammed until the mobs die. Get extra dashes from food vendor and Sophia, you become a blur.
Also, with how the curse items work from my experience, it's best to either just grab one of the hp reduction courses and forget about the other or grab the 2nd one on your next visit. With the voodoo doll and the passive trait of gaining max hp from elites, you can gain enough life back to safely grab both curse items across two trips.

I think I remember the exchange machines from the previous update. Also, you kept lowering the danger level a lot which significantly reduces the number of elite enemies that spawn, thus giving you less max HP.

The HP buffs go off of your items since you had alot of hp *%* downs since the percent is still applied
0.1 * 15 = 1.5
Hence the reason you where only getting one per normal health up.

Op synergy for Darcy, get rapid slash , go fire rooms, get missiles when you use skills from said fire rooms, here's the op part. It proves from every slash of rapid slash not just the first, so instead of getting only 3 missiles, you now get 3xNumber of slashes
I managed this on stream after I recorded this video. She has a lot of good synergy from what I can see. The dash synergy with Gale + Shadows is very good

Oh btw your skill without upgrades isn't a parry. It's a singular teleport slash that resets it's cooldown if you manage to kill something with it, it does a decent amount of damage but tbh your better off with rapid slash, tho I think the default has a delay after using it so if your lucky you can spam it faster than rapid slash

you are probably getting less healing from the heart cores as you have a lot of cursed items that lower HP. I would imagine that factors into the gains from those cores as well.

Glad to hear the Undying Elites are gone, they were my least favorite thing. They got in way too many cheap hits because they were un-hittable and you couldn't tell they were attacking in a large mob.

Well, they've definitely nailed the potency on updates to a level roughly on par with Skul---no small feat.
So the reason why you only got 1 health with the health ups is because you picked up items that reduce your total Hp percent wise. This carries throughout the run.
Also a note is that her dash actually destroys projectiles. It makes those annoying pew pews less annoying if you are constantly dashing.
Her lightning sword has some Zenitsu energy and I love it.
52:44 I figured this upgrade may not be the best when it said the health increase comes from elite kills. My first thought was, "it sounds nice, but how many elites are you going to kill". Even at the point you notice your HP just hit 201, the upgrade hasn't hit 200. Your max HP started at 16 after the upgrade, and you probably got 4-5 HP upgrades from other sources, so the item itself is only at ~180.
I think they can easily fix this by increasing the stack rate from one to two stacks per kill, bringing your stacks up to ~360, which seems reasonable this far into a run. Fixing the calculations would be nice too, because as it stands, it seems any HP upgrade you take while using that item is reduced to less than 10% of what it says (two champion's belts didn't increase your health).
He has a 70% max hp down tho, that continues effecting the other items afterwards, if you gained 100 life over the course of a stage it’d only be 30 due to that item.
i think whats happening is that you took 2 cursed items and one reduced max Hp by 20% and the other by 70% thus 90% overall and it transfers to the items that give you like + 15 HP minus 90%. But thats just a wild guess

Yeah, so you find more elites along the way. You could use it initially to get a lot of plus HP until you reach the limit, then reduce danger all the way back down assuming you're saving. But I also imagine the other -hp items I took were keeping my life from looking good by the end

I think the max hp upgrades are affected by the -70% and -30% max hp cursed items you grabbed at the start and that’s why they’re giving you no hp
The biggest problem with undying was not just "enemies lingering" IMO. It was that it did not interrupt their attacks. If you were about to kill an enemy that was about to do an attack, you would just kill it to stop it attacking, but dying did not stop the animation(because of undying) and they would get the attack off. It was basically something that slowed down the game and punished you randomly for playing with risk/speed. It really sucked.

How do you use the controller for this game...i plugged it in, connected over Bluetooth, but it doesn't seems like the game recognizes it
I connect mine via cable. Make sure you go into big picture mode for steam and enable controller support for whichever you use. For me it's PS4 support. The only issue I have is usually after I boot the game each time my R2 doesn't work adn my sub wep doesn't shoot. So I have to pause the game, go into big picture, turn off controller support. Go back to the game, press the button, pause again, go back into big picture and turn PS4 back on. After that quick reset it's fine.

You can gain three different upgrades from hank why not choose other upgrades only one use your roses
I max one of them out so its full potential is being used, then use more roses to get another upgrade. Usually I can get the second upgrade to level 3-4.

Assault rifle is already so bad but this update just makes it so much worse considering skill build is the only good build but now Darcy just does skill builds better. Feels bad considering how Assault Rifle is my fav weapon.

I don’t hate Darcy btw I actually think that every weapon should be as fun as her as a gold standard.
