London is easier to find international food! Here is a bit of a challenge
My favorite Brazilian dish. I cannot get good feijoada in Michigan. I have to wait until I go to Belo Horizonte.
hahahhaah good idea! or make some yourself??!! ;)
@@HungryNati I make a better caldo de feijão. My feijoada is not that good.
the good news is, you can go to any Portuguese speaking country in the world and eat feijoada. it comes in many different variations. the Brazilian is obviously the most popular variant, but there's many others
Muito obrigados, Chef Nati, Kuma & Mercè de Barcelona. 🥳💐
Feijoada actually has it's origins in Northern Portugal. as it can be found all over the Portuguese speaking world, in different variations thanks to their former colonial empire. the Brazilian feijoada is one such variation.
nice :)

What did you say you can’t find collard greens in the United States? I must say collard greeens are a huge part of American cuisine and they are all over !! But anyways Brazilian Feijuada is beyond amazing and it really hits home during Sunday dinner when friends and family come over !!
Hey hey!!!
I’m not in the United States!!! I’m in Amsterdam, Netherlands:) I’m not sure if I mentioned in this video, (oh no!!)!!
Yes!!! Collard greens are all over!! One thing that I missed living in NYC is being able to cook and find Brazilian food and ingredients easily!!
Thank you for watching and I’m glad you enjoy feijoada almost as much as I do!! ;)
@@HungryNati Ehhh Boerenkool is hier heel normaal alleen 's zomers niet te vinden. Daarom heb ik het altijd in de vriezer liggen.
@@HungryNati It's only available in wintertime. I always have a bag pre-cut in the freezer.
Recipe?
Are you a brazilian?
Yes!!!
I am from Macau and have cousins from Brazil. We Portuguese are all over the globe. Feijada is made and known all over the world, not just Brazil.
Food looks good but the voice....omg!!! 😮
It’s is not a stew! Please! Don’t spread lies about this amazing dish.
Definition of a stew - a dish of meat and vegetables cooked slowly in liquid in a closed dish or pan.
Sorry, but there is no historical evidences that feijoada origins was in slavery. The feijoada is a local variation of a stew Portuguese with white beans, and of the cassoulet (French dish), from the 16th and 17th centuries. Whatever, your feijoada looks delicious.
