I’m very happy with my 19x MOS. It shoots great. Prior to buying the 19x MOS I’d been carrying a standard G19 for probably a decade now.
That’s awesome brother! I carried my standard Glock 19 Gen 5 that I bought from the Marine Corps PX for years and I gave it on my daughter when I switched to the Glock 19X.

I was running a g22 gen 4 as my edc for 4 years but the g19X mos very quickly became my new edc
The same here, I used to carry the G22 but now I carry both the G19X and 19X MOS for EDC and my duty gun.

The biggest benefit is the ballistic advantage you gain with the longer barrel. You are achieving full size pistol velocity. Which is what most defensive rounds have been developed around.
Yes, it has better accuracy with the longer barrel.

I am keeping both the old Glock 19X and the Glock 19X MOS but I will carry the MOS for my duty gun. I can use the same holster.

I have the exact same EDC with TLR-1 HL light, and TREX sidecar 2.0 holster but I run the extra mag holder with it and I have the same camouflage print to match the gun. Now I got a black weapon light makes the black on the gun stand out more.

The Safariland Glock 19X duty holster will not fit the Glock 19X MOS because of the threaded barrel. You can probably remove the bottom part to allow the threaded barrel to part to fit.

I think you can since it has the threaded barrel.
Does the new 19X MOS include maritime striker cups?
I think it should. The Glock 19X comes with the maritime striker since they were built for the military contract bid, but Google it.

I used the FDE for the regular Glock-19X and brown for the MOS. The brown look so much better.

Pare ko, I switch between the 19X and the Glock 45 for my duty pistols as well. Their sizes are pretty much the same and perfect for when I do executive protection. And now, the 19X with MOS and threaded barrel hits the sweet spot. Going to trade in the Glock 45 for the 19X MOS. If not, I have Blue Label discount. I can't wait. Also, if you're interested, the Holosun SCS optic actually fits perfectly without the plate and co-witnessing matches and tunes perfectly. The only caveat with getting the 19X MOS, and just like the 19X is that if you were to get any other magazine other than meant for the 19X/ MOS, you can only get Gen 3 and Gen 4 magazines. Otherwise, all you have to do is switch out the magazine base plates.
Other than that, the new 19X MOS is a total winner!

I was happy when Glock decided to release the Glock 19X MOS with the threaded barrel. Check out the range shooting review. This gun is amazing!
I forgot to mention that the suppressor height sights are non glowing black sights so I had to paint the front sight bright red to help me see better.
@@guardianforceps ah, I did pick up on that when I went to their booth at Shot Show. No, explanation was given as to why but every time they presented it, they said that the sites were customizable, as usual. I’m so used to the 3-dot night sites on both the 19X and the 45 myself, and I’ll be getting them for the 19X MOS for sure. Co-Witnessing would be a lot easier with them. At least for me.
I too almost got the 45 MOS as well. I was even thinking of purchasing a 3rd party MOS slide for the 19x. I’m glad I waited.

I just bought the Glock factory MOS adapter set for my Trijicon RMR2. I am going to install it soon when I have time and make a video about it.

Yes, I like it better than the milled slide.

@@HKX_ORANGECHICKEN It is just cheaper to get the MOS version if you don't have the MOS version yet. Glock will void your warranty if you are still under the warranty coverage period if you mill it. There is a chance that they may destroy your slide but that's very low.

STREAMLIGHT TLR-1 HL 1,000 lumens. Many law-enforcement agencies run the exact same weapon light. Very common to see. I also own 3 one on the Glock one ProTac HL on belt and the streamlight ProTac HL Railmont rifle light.

No, it doesn’t. It is just a cheap black suppressor height sights.
What do you think about the glock 49?
For an every day carry is fine, it carries 15+1 rounds. For a duty gun, I will pick 19X. 19X carries 19+1 rounds.

I kind of like the old 19x better it’s got night sights .. I don’t use a suppressor or anything else ..So I’ve never liked how threaded barrels stick out… the only thing I like is the MOS… I don’t even like how those Suppressor height sights stick up… I mean I get it,,you can also co witness them with the Red dot.. you know what I’d pry buy the original version.. can the original barrel fit in the new one..
Me too, that is why I am keeping both, the sights of the old one is better.

You are a great Filipino gun content guy. I always get along with the pnoys. I do have to say 🥱 to Glock now. How much more was the new one over the old? You can easily get the sites, barrel, and slide from certain clone sites(Not going to advertise)and still will spend less and have a nicer Glock than what you would pay for the new one. My CZ P07/P09 are more exciting. My CZ SP01, CZ P75 Duty, and Shadow 2 are on an entirely different level. Even my 2 HKs are more interesting. Most are just loving Glocks these days for little innovation and to be able to say I have a Glock. It looks nice. I just wouldn’t spend that kind of money for one when I already have one that’s just not MOS ready and co-witness sites. I’d save the money and deck my old 19X out. Glock is like IPhone. Huge price tag but mediocre. Buy the new one and 3 months later they release a new one just a different color. 😂. Whatever floats your root beer though. I own them just can’t update to anything new until they drop something better than the 1980s Cellphone Brick shaped Glock. I will always rock Gen 3s.
