Single paned shouldn’t be the choice simply because you have burglar proof in place though. Double glazing provides insulation which in turn will save you on cooling charges for a long time. It will pay for itself and worth looking into.

Absolutely ! Been there with sliding before 🤯 deffo get more air inside with casement, however I really do rate the quality on the sliding if it’s within people’s budget you just need to make sure they are sealed well and have the right security etc

For the Ghanaian climate, louvres are the best.
