Useful feature. Keep those videos coming!
Unfortunately I also have devices which are off and should be turned on without knowing why, but this is not this feature can be solved.
Thank you! Very helpful, BUT I have this log for only some of my units? Unfortunately, none of my thermostats has this timeline.
Hey Rune, this is true, right now the Device Timeline is limited to basic On/Off functions and reporting. So devices like a thermostat don't (yet) have a timeline. Others, like a light, or plug, will have it.
@@homey when will this ble fixed?
@@mmyrvold5494 It's being worked on.
It’s sometimes really handy, BUT (there is always a but) when you turn a light (say a hue bulb) on (with a flow) using dimming the device timeline tell you the hue app turn on the light. So many people will think the hue app or hue bridge is doing something.
Hopefully this will be changed so you can use it properly.
Hey Arjan, thanks for the tip. I'll relay this internally and see if that is intentional or maybe something we didn't spot yet. :)
Estou precisando de um deste.
Sommige apparaten geven structureel aan dat ze aangezet zijn door "naam van de app van het apparaat". Is dat een bug in de Fibaro/Ikea App of doe ik iets verkeerd?
Hey Dennis, from what I understand this is when a Flow, changes the Dim level of the device. Right now, that doesn't look to be reported properly, and will show up as if the device's app has made a change. I'm sharing internally, so hopefully will be addressed in an upcoming update.
Well, this is awesome and help me find some of my broken flows... but sometimes one of my device turn on, and homey says it is off :)
Hey Redovan, that can be due to the device itself, and how it reports it's state back to Homey. Eg. 433Mhz is often a one way signal, so those devices sometimes don't update in the App properly, since they don't send back a 'received' signal.
@@homey Well, it is Zigbee, but it happends so few times (like 5 in 2 years :-D) and since v5 i belive it didnt happends at all... but as ZWave app developer, i know how hard that can be to fix this "strange" stuff :)
I would rather see why a light didn't go on when nothing changed. Is there a solution or an app for?
Hey Chris, how do you mean? If nothing changes, then the light doesn't go on... Sounds like the right behavior to me.
Useful. But in my case most entries in the timeline is Activated and Deactivated and a time, not telling me what flow triggered it. Even if i connect a test bulb to a button with a flow and switch it on and off every now and then, only one of twenty presses has a flow visible in the timeline.
Hey Jorgen, thanks for the feedback! Can I ask, what brand of bulb / button are you using? I'll make sure to share internally and see if we can fix the issue.
