Hi 1320! 🦋💋
This dude is a character I can't get enough of, such a good vibe and funny too. Needs a YT channel for sure
Can he any more humble with that much ability and knowledge?!! To be clear, I adore his humility.
The fact he runs it down the road as a daily driver is the best.
This man is the best,he did a 50 washer fix on the highway,he haven't tried to find a good fix lmao if it ain't broke no worries 🤣 epitomy of amerrrica ,all the best to him getting those back order parts and finish his motor
It’s only temporary unless it works🤷♂️
A fella doesn’t just forget like the nine trailer burnouts on 1320…
I thought this rig looked familiar 😂
Good eye.
czcams.com/video/ydypf-Y6TO4/video.html
This episode tickled me a lot. And the guy is just one of those likeable people with a gift for wrenching.
The shake hands with danger theme is so perfect for this video. Bless.
Split the block in multiple places. That is kind of insane how much force went through that engine to do that.
I'm sure you've seen what happened to Power Driven Diesel's 5.9 12 valve when they gave it all the spray and it decided 250 psi was just a bit too much for it
@@HotForgeChaos Yes. I have now. I have also had a motor seize and throw parts while under load and at the higher end of its RPM limits. I was at about 60 MPH and started going up a hill. Since it was only a three speed auto, this was normal for the engine, but I had a serious oil leak start and the incline caused the oil pump to be starved. I barely notice the oil pressure drop and before I could react to it, the whole car lurched to the right and twisted in that direction too. Having something like that happen when going 90+ MPH on a drag strip with a motor that was producing 8 time or more the HP would be really frightening, assuming you hadn't gotten used to that sort of event.
So, maybe 136psi would have been okay? 138 is definitely too much.
@@LesSharp At least for a little longer than the 138 psi lasted.
It really wasn't the 138psi that broke it. It was the 138psi and low rpm. I think it would have lived if it didn't double shift and pull it down so low.
I`ve never seen more of a "Brother from another Mother" than this ! = ) What an absolute legend !
I like that he ran. The exhaust out the back. Instead of through the hood.
Thanks! Every one wanted me to hood stack it. I couldn't do it
Hood stacks are great for a race car, terrible for a daily
yeah when you like to try and drive the thing for 1000+ miles in a week you don't really want diesel fumes in your face the whole time
Keep this trick I devised years ago for the future when you do carbutator work..
Try this... Heat the plastic tube from the carb cleaner spray with a lighter (about 1/4-1/2 inch from the end. Then pull on each end of the tube to stretch it. This makes the outer/inner tube diameter smaller and more of a pin point. When the melted plastic solidifies, use small wire clippers or nail clippers to snip the tube at the smallest diameter that still provides flow when spraying. The cleaner comes out like a pin point pressure washer and the shrunken plastic tube end fits inside whatever port your spaying thru.
You can also do the same to create 90 degree angles in the plastic tube to spray sideways inside long venturi tubes.
I used to make/keep custom tubes around for these situations. Hope this makes sense. BTW.... Great videos.
That's a great trick. I've seen chemists torch glass tubing to seal off a vile like that or to thin them out/ change the shape.
Wow. Probably the coolest truck ever featured on the channel!
Definitely the fastest
@@no_picture Yeah pretty nuts what they were doing on public roads
@@davedarling6512 it was a closed road in Mexico
I think this is my favorite video in the entire internet.
Just two good ol' boys never meaning no harm
Boom…! Saturday morning, hot coffee, perfect time for a Deboss vid ;))))
Good morning everybody…! ;)
Anyone else hear the "Shake hands with Danger" music that Zip Ties plays when the sun was in his eyes?
My favorite part
Good ole Peg with the rubber foot..minty👌
I was going to ask the same question haha. That was truly genius big of editing/production there.
Sweet setup. Impressive fuel numbers! Good old Cummins
Saw him on the 1320 race week event thing they did, what a ripper. I thought by the end that truck was gonna be ripped in half if it ever fully grabbed and went because of how hard it launched. Bad ass dude! 💪
Watched this dude at drag week!!!! AWESOME RIG!! Enjoyed hearing the story about it in your video 🤘
Brilliant, ‘I don’t know how much I pumped the pedal’ top quality statement right there. 🤜🤛🤜🤛🤣👍👍🇬🇧🇨🇦
I have watched about all of Rich's videos - and this might be the best yet for a "non-Deboss" unit. Rich looked like his face was going to break he was smiling so hard.
I Loved that shake hands with danger reference😂
This is a cool thing you're doing Rich. Nice to see this stuff we wouldn't normally. Good on you.
Best regards from Indiana.
Where ya at in Indiana
That guy behind him probably thought "oh great, grandpa out for a drive in his old truck" 🤣
Lol that old "shaking hands with danger" song at 9:27
It's good to see that he seems to keep track of fuel mileage.
I love he tucked all that tire behind the bed walls. No cut and flared fneders.
Thanks! I had alot of things I had to do like that that made the difference to me but noone notices
This dude is a legend! Love his stories.
Wait, wait..... 13:42. Is that a white Chevrolet Chevette in the background? Lol nice!
Says I've never tried to go all out at any of the events cuz it has to get me home! Classic ✌
That thing is so cool. The owner seems really genuine, personable and open
The shake hands with danger in the background is a nice touch
This is my dad and his truck and what’s hilarious to me is he loves athe song and says shake hands with danger all the time and the background music is shake hands with danger spot on deboss garage
Dude... your dad is epic
Luv this guy
My brother is a big diesel guy and he's obsessed with putting a Cummins in everything. Lol
When he said it was stock I couldn’t stop laughing
What a driver to keep that lil short wheelbase truck straight. He could probably sip a coffee while doing that. Excellent build WOW I didn't expect that.
what about that chevette?
I have wanted the details on this truck for years. Good stuff.
What ya wanna know
@@jessieharris8204 do you have a CZcams channel or Facebook that you post on? I love cummins engines and old Chevy trucks so this thing is like the ultimate dream for me
@@leviduff2740 I dont. I work a 45 hour week. Then run a small business. Then race when I can. Just no time for it. My goal is to sleep 3 to 4 hours a night. It never happens lol. I have grown to love the drag and drive events. So what ever media coverage I get will be it for now.
@@jessieharris8204 I’ve got a lot of questions for you and would love to talk to you about this conversion!
"They make bolts to do this, but not at Menards or Lowe's" man if that aint me. If its not available same day local pickup I probably dont even need it
The best mod on that Cummins is the Dodge delete kit...
That's awesome
I agree 100%
100%
The “shake hands with danger” back ground music made me lol!!
Great video, loved the story behind it. Such a cool guy and what a beautiful truck!
This man be out here putting Arkansas on the map
I do what I can. The state of arkanfuckoff never paid one cent. 100% the trooper fault.
@@jessieharris8204 sounds about right… they couldn’t afford to anyway
Sick truck, gotta love a Cummins and as a daily, very cool. Down to earth dude as well. Thanks for sharing!!👍🏻
Now that's a beard.
Very enjoyable watch lads, many thanks for making this video!
Awesome build!! Great video guys!
I saw this at drag week. It was amazing. What a beautiful truck that shreds.
Great truck, great guy, great video. Thanks Deboss 😁
This thing is so cool, thanks for sharing.
Kickass build and nice to see a fellow Hoosier
Love it! That thing rips
"we keep stopping after a half mile"🤣🤣🤣
omfg I want to say this is one of the top 3 video's I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. how do we get more of this truck running??
Holy cow, that thing is BADA$$!

That is a beautiful and scary as hell square body! Love it

Haha no mucking around, out the gate and into it, ripper of a truck, cheers from Sth Australia
What a Bad Ass set up! Love the drive and drag set up!

Badass Squarebody. with a Cummins. It doesnt get any better then That...Sweet Ride. Great Video. Thanks for sharing...
One awesome sick ride, helluva build!!!
This fella is awesome!! This truck is off the hook!! Good stuff!
Shaking hands with danger, Rich thanks for sharing this is a great story. More please
The truck is awesome, but that is the cleanest Chevette I've seen in decades!
Good to see another Indiana man representing too!
That’s mine I try to keep it clean never thought it being in the background it would get so much attention
@@freedomeagletv1776 Sweet! I'm happy to see it!
I too saw the chevette and made a comment. Surprised to see another comment on it haha cool
love the shake hands with danger music thrown in there
Beyond cool and keeping it in the family-priceless.Cummins for life
That launch was savage! No moss is going to grow on that rolling stone!! wicked
I wanna know about that Chevette sitting in the background
It belongs to my son
@@jessieharris8204 you don't see them around too often....especially up here in Michigan. I had a guy at work that restored one and daily drove it in the summer. I guess I'm just a big fan of the "throw away" cars from the 80's that were all over the place when I was a kid that you just don't see anymore. Thanks to you and your son for keeping one alive.
@@kenleppek he actually has 2 of them. He loves them. He will race one cummins powered before long
@@jessieharris8204 they did make diesel Chevettes but definitely not Cummins powered. That would be a riot. Just like a tractor the powertrain weights more than the rest of the car lol.
Excellent video DEBOSS Rich :) amazing truck for sure and amazing build truck Lol and so cool !
I'm surprised there's not more burn-out marks on the road in front of his house! Lol
There usually is it had just got repacked for the first time in 15 years
That is a clean well built truck, very impressive run want to see the truck when he has his 6.7 in there.
GREAT BUILD
This is the loud neighbour that you WANT !
Awesome guy, awesome ride !
I love every single thing about this.
The chevette in the background is the best!
Them back country road boys from Indiana don't play!! Awesome.
What a cool build!
Awesome truck, those burnouts are unbelievable! Also love the music in this one, 'Shake Hands With Danger' is such a classic and the second one sounds like Robbie Robertson's 'Somewhere Down the Crazy River' without the words.
another absolutely awesome video!
This guy is awsome ! love the truck
From @14:20 thru @14:32 you have the biggest smile on your face when he was doing burn outs lolol must have been fun!!
This was a awesome video can’t stop watching it
Knowledgeable.
Impressive! Awesome truck!
I love the trim delete paintwork.
It was done by billy fields
He has a up/down mullet. Business up top, party from ears down.
Awesome comment!!! The beard was getting tangled in my coat zipper while hunting. It got a major trimming.
Wow what a beast👍👍 rad truck
Awesome truck unreal the power
Grat channel luv the Bronco!
I don’t think you stopped smiling the whole ride lol !
Master of understatement.
Awsome truck🇦🇺👍
Man it makes me want to get started on my old 85 GMC.
That Truck is a BEAST! Holy crap.
Great truck. Great guy.
What a legend!
Love the shake hands with danger sound track. Fits truck well lol
Very funny dude and a killer ride.
Love it towards the 17 mark in the video I'm looking at a square box Chevy a Chevrolet chevette I believe in the background haha and your bronco.! Talk about flashbacks and YEEHAWS ♥️♥️
138 lbs of boost broke it.... weird.
This guy is a character. I want to hang out and have a beer with him.
I'm thirsty bub
