Great review. Im thinking of buying an A770 LE, just to keep unopened as a "piece of history".
Nice. They are super affordable. Not sure how much, if at all it will ever be worth something like the original Mac, but you never know. :)
honestly, im glad i got this Acer Predator Bifrost a770...its a great card so far... dxvk solves old game issues the majority of the time... once its just build into their drivers and optimized for their hardware... its gonna be truly amazing...

@@phoenixrising4995 I got the same card and I like it so far. I'm glad a 3rd vendor is joining the GPU battle. Let's hope the increased competition puts downward pressure on prices and upwards on features.
I received my A770-16 two weeks ago and the performance is surprising good for the price.
The initial driver installation for 31.0.101.3975 beta was a PITA.
It wasn't a bad driver...just a bad installer.
The .exe installer kept crashing my system at the hardware check phase and in the end, I had to use the .zip file to manually install the driver from the Device manager.
I had gone in with expectations tempered based on reviews.
Last night I went to the newest driver 31.0.101.4032.
The WMR performance is also much better than expected at this early stage of driver development.
Assetto Corsa competizione and Automobilista2 run great in VR.
just seen gigabyte is starting to make the intel gpus. available overseas so far, not in US. they look pretty good too.
Nice! Yeah i think arc is gonna start putting out some numbers with sales as long as the driver improvements keep coming.
@@MiddleofKnowhere like to see the next lineup with higher tier cards. think they're gonna shock people with next lineups performance after the test run with this series.
im seeing great perf even in most legacy api titles, using dxvk solves most of the issues with ease..... farcry runs bad native, great dxvk with heavy reshade.. (over 165fps the max my monitor can mange..)
the 3975 drivers are great so far.... the boosts from drivers show this will age like fine wine imho... im loving this card so far.. i got no complaints that wont be solved by 3rd party tools and drivers maturing... ;)

@@MiddleofKnowhere thats what im expecting, more so with the a770m thats coming out in mini pc's and soon to release laptops... intel arent abandoning this project, almost guarntee they knew that drivers would take time to mature just not how much time... i mean... the other 2 vendors have how many DECADES on intel producing actual gpu drivers?

@@AshenTechDotCom Pretty damn amazing for a REAL first go at it. I know Intel made a discrete card eons ago called the i740, which later lead to their integrated graphics, but this is absolutely amazing to see the performance gains. My next Card after the a770 LE will be Celestial when they have the drivers fully matured and a product line determined. Tell me this has AMD seen these performance gains in like 2 months after a launch of a product.
Had mine like a month now and It totally rocks, have had minor issues but not in games. Only thing It's a fucking blue sun that lights up the whole room xD
also noite: i bought this as a 'this will age better for the money from amd or nvidia' and i dont need my 1070 despite it being in here have not found a single title that dosnt run better or equally well on this card vs the 1070/1070 sli... i love this card so far... witht he power limit at 305 watts i can lock it in at around 2700 average clock(it goes above that but never drops below 2650 using the build in OC features...
try 12/+75/max power limit... i love this card and its worth the extra cost over intels model if you want a long term investment, its enver gone above 82c even with me pushing it stupid hard... heh...
I had it I return it , I want to giving a chance to intel in the new gpu but I had so many crash in warzone 2.0 I know the game has problems and the gpu need new drivers I can’t wait for the fix I need to play my games . 😕
