It wouldn't surprise me if they started with those specific steel segments to also help secure the cable stays, because with the entire roof being supported by a tensioned cable-net system they cannot be removed without bringing the whole roof down. Like the South Stand, these will be incorporated into the new structure
It's always a pleasure watching Mr drone👍👍
You were right on top of it 😂 you can see the Co-op logo on the left at 7:58
He even says someone will probably end up telling him that's the case hahha
Blind as a bat! DH!
The big black square building to your left. The curved one is the velodrome
Cheers' Nick thanks for this visit
Co-op Live is the big black box immediately behind the new stand across the tram tracks!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks!
7:57 The CoOp arena is right here nick. I know your drone screen is small but that was some miss 🤣
I was there last Tuesday for a stadium tour they were just about to open the Co-op concert venue at that end of the stadium there must be 500 + construction workers on site its an amazing stadium and with the add ons will be world class
Thank you. You get everywhere 😂. I am sure you had a great night. A good win.
good vid on channel lkks good keep up the good vids on channel
Building a hotel expanding the stadium great investment city will be a force to reckon with
Great to see you covering the new City project Nick 👍Will this be a regular visit?
Nicholas thanks for your interest. Plenty of comments in here about the position of the Co-op Live Arena.
However the building you zoomed in was the Velodrome. It's the site of united's second ground at Bank Street. On the terrace opposite there is a plaque. They first started at Newton Heath then moved close by to Bank Street. They then moved out of Mcr and into Trafford (an independent town). It was at Bank Street where they changed their name from Newton Heath F. C. to M. U. F. C. and the kit from green & yellow halves to red.
The co op arena is right behind the stand the square building, with the co op sign on the roof, which was on your left, you shown a bit of the roof. That place you looked at was the cycle centre.
Watched Man. City demolish Brighton last night and on that performance they'll win the premiership at a canter.
The stadium was constructed with the future capacity conceptions in mind and taking into consideration the importance of the structure of the roof.
We used a innovative self compacting on the deep anchor points (smelt like putty)
Original raker beams were reinforced and formed concrete.
The concrete towers erected will be lift shafts and you can work out the floor levels from the openings.
Ps. Worked extensively on the site from when it was a container base , the bypass, the construction, and the recent pitch overhaul .
Demolished Maine Road where most of it went to landfill!
As did The Kop End of Liverpool which had date stamped Accrington Bricks which went to a few Liverpool Fc mates or landfill in Hapsford …. Shameful
Will be some stadium when finished, can anyone tell me if the council still owns it or have the club bought it? X
They have got to crack on through it. Euro 28 isnt really that long away and they wont want any over runs or problems, they will want it all done and running smoothly with loads of time to spare.
Extra seats being put in for Take That or Robbie Williams I'm assuming?
The coop arena was to your left and behind you the big black box😂😂😂
I'm no expert, but I wonder if the new Co-op arena is that massive building on the left with Co-op written on the roof.....? lol
Cheers Mr Drone . 👍. Still it'll always be the biggest stadium in every league the club crashes through ! deadly quite, and wondering where it all went wrong 😂😂😂, while welcoming the likes of Dover FC et al ( not to diss DFC of course. )
That what you zoomed in was the velodrome
The concrete towers are for lifts hafts and stairways
Hi Nick. The completion date for the North Stand is November 2025 and the rest is the middle of 2026. Fact. Yours Manchester Blue! 💙
El estadio del Manchester City es propiedad del club o es propiedad municipal
Just as you said "the Co Op live arena is around here somewhere" at 7.57 mins, it came into view on the left. You then zoomed into the wrong building. Peter kay had to cancel is shows there. Not sure why. The Co op live arena is 50% owned by one of the Man City owners.
They were cancelled due to power issues during the testing phase for the arena, but his shows have been moved to other dates
💪💪💪
El nuevo estadio del Manchester City será totalmente nuevo ?
O es el actual que está siendo remodelado?
it's an extension of the current stadium
City can’t fill there original stadium idk why they are making it bigger
👍
What are the spirals for around the stadium?
Stairways to different elevations.
@@English_Dawn Thanks, they look similar to car park entry/exits.
@@English_Dawn Aye, they took the idea from the San Siro
These stands look really small makes me wonder how the fit 54k capacity in..
When City of Manchester Stadium was built for Commonwealth Games the bottom tier was buried underground so possibly that is why the stands look small from the outside. Someone else might be able to confirm if the pitch is below external ground level.
The level one seating id below ground level that's why it looks small from outside.
@@paulwoods2449 ah makes sense thanks for the reply
@@mazinnasralla2036 makes sense then
@@mazinnasralla2036 Indeed, even the North Stand was temporary seating when the stadium initially opened, and was replaced by a permanent structure at the same time the pitch and lower bowl was excavated. However, with the stadium also serving as an athletics venue there was an agreement in place whereby the Manchester Regional Arena was built next door to retain the running track and therefore allow athletics to continue on campus.

Can't even fill it now 👍🏻
Ho Ho The old ones are the best ones..
He obviously doesn’t like City but it seems he shows a lot of interest in us.🤣
And "you" also believe in the tooth fairy .
@@ayeuphutchy9807 us?
@@darrenwarby32 What they ain't real?
They can't fill it now never mind bigger lol
I read the hotel is planned to be nine storeys. ✅
There is a 120,000 waiting-list concerning season tickets. ⚽
Thanks Dawn, appreciate the information a lot 👏
best ground in world .💙
calm down fella lmao not even close the nou camp and bernabeau are clear even everton's new ground is nicer also spurs
Be a nice stadium in non league if they are charged by the Premier League because I doubt the EFL would let them in 👀👀
Hideous stadium and area, looks like one giant industrial park.
Where the cheats play
Better than your 💩Anfield
The whole site was built on what was the Bradford Colliery, so the entire area was nothing more than industrial wasteland before the stadium was built
Can't fill there ground now
*Their
Bitter 🤡
No team ever fills their ground completely on a matchday, regardless of their size
Etihad expansion?
How empty do they want it to look?
Come on try again. Let’s have something original. MCFC OK.
Bigger than your club.
Should be allowed fie cheats
It’s behind you🫣- The arena a big black square building 😂
