I think TCA peels are great but careful with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation if you have olive skin tones ;)

Thank you, Dr. Kappel . Great job as always. Could you please talk about Fotona 4- Fotona 6 lasers. Is it the same as the thermage?
No it is different but it is a great device. It is an Erbium laser so its different than Thermage which is a energy based device. Both are great but Thermage is better for tightening as it is deeper.
Can you make a MDaire sunscreen?
Colorscience is so great that I don't feel there is a need for one but yes many have asked me that before so maybe!

It works well but you need the right type of laser for the right type of veins. If the veins are purple then Vbeam is best. If they are blue/green then you need a 1065nm wavelength laser like ExcelV. Hope this helps!!! Most derms will not even know this unless they're laser specialists so take this info with you to your consult ;)
I have PRF EZ gel in my face now. I did it about two months ago, but there is none under my eyes. She did put some PRF, the liquid, under my eyes. I will say the procedure really hurt. She used a cannula for the gel, a needle for the liquid. I had no numbing cream on and she didn’t want to inject lidocaine because she said it distorts the skin too much and is hard to see the placement of the gel. The needle was way less painful. I wouldn’t do it again.

I think Fotona is great. I don't have one but my colleagues say great things about it. Vit C is really important during pregnancy. Have you tried the MDAiRE Vit C-FK? If not, you're in for a treat!

can you talk about PRF EZ gel ? BC i developed allergic rx to juvederm after 10 yrs of use and now have to dissolve it. I wonder PRF EX gel can be a replacement for some one like me.
Yes, I am going to investigate it further as the duration not lasting long is my only concern with this treatment. I'll circle back to you guys once I have data to present to you ;)
Hello I hope I’m not too late to ask a question but I’m very curious about tretinoin for young people because I heard that starting tretinoin too early can age you because your skin already naturally resurfaces fast and you make it resurface even faster and it made me wonder, I started tretinoin last year, I was 19 now I’m 20, you started tretinoin at 20 too. Is there such a thing and can your skin get too used to it so it one day doesn’t work anymore, for example I use it until I’m 40 and it doesn’t give me the same anti aging results anymore. To me it feels like a myth but I’m asking the correct pro here and I also started tretinoin for my acne not just anti aging.
I would like to know, how I would be able to peel my skin deeper (salicylic acid?)
Usually combining a laser with a peel but only trust an expert with this combination

You talk about Ellecor fot the abdomen, have you had good results for C-section pouch? I am in DC area and one plastic surgeon told me it does not work well.
Yes! Ellacor works very well. Remember plastic surgeons want to operate on you and are usually not fans of non-surgical options. It is true that surgery will yield more aggressive results but you have to deal with surgical drains, downtime, a large scar and possible complications 😬

I just saw your short on skinvice. I must look into this though I have so many deep chest wrinkles it'd likey take several syringes and I can only imagine the cost. Your short reads "skinvice" and I'm wondering if it's actually "skinvive" by Juvederm.

What do you think of cryoskin/neveskin for fat loss?
It is similar to coolsculpting which I am unfortunately not a huge fan of given the devices side effect profile
Thank you! It sounded too good to be true haha they said there is no risk of the fat gain like cool sculpting so I have been tempted!

It was a thing back in 2013 and it wasn't impressive back then but its now been rebranded and I still think its just ok but not the best option available

How did you manage weight gain after cycle stopped?
I still have regular cycles in my late 40s but I am on the Loestrin birth control pill which I have been on since I was 18. My body does well with this pill and I am followed closely by my ob/gyn. The only two times in my life I was off the pill was for two pregnancies and when I was breastfeeding both babies 18 months each. I do believe that being on low dose oral estrogen has helped my skin stay looking youthful into my 40s. Using my MDAiRE skincare line helps keep my acne, melasma and rosacea away as well.
