    Shame how much of a let down this season was compared to the brilliant first season as well as Traitors NZ coming out at the same time, but Camille was hands down the player that saved this season. Deserved a way better cast to play the game with. Her final move will go down in Traitors history.

    It was actually Extremely encouraging for me personally to see karma take care of Sam at the end. He thought he was going to steal all the money and have himself a Grand old time but again greed and karma took over. Too bad though for The others but camille had the last laugh, if I'm not getting anything neither will you sam.

    If Sam felt so much for Blake he could have written "share" to guarantee that Blake would get some of the money. His whining about how bad Blake felt holds no water. He said he knew she might write steal which was why he wouldn't write share. So when he said he was so shocked she wrote steal, he was contradicting himself. If he knew she might write steal he could have written share, told Blake to write steal, and let Black either have it or share with Camille. I do feel a little bit for Blake. He was caught between an awful person and a woman who would not let the awful person prevail.

    Sam Kind of ruined the show. I like when there is a mastermind but he didn't seem to be just playing the game. I hope he doesn't get a bunch of reality shows. He wasn't fun to watch at all. As far as I'm concerned Camille saved the show with that ending. I've watched the first Australian season, the American and Canadian versions and this was my least favourite. Too bad Camille, Annabel and Luke didn't get on a better version/season.

    While i agree with the annabelle hot take I also think that the rest of the faithfuls proved throughout the season that they were fickle and unable to be swayed with reason. Cast dynamics matter a lot with how far you can get in this game

    I am like Annabelle, am obsessed with the show I listen to everything, and I watch all of the seasons that I can find. Just my opinion, and from what I observe, it’s not always the best faithful that end up at the end it’s the not so smart but most gullible . So to get snotty about people saying that Annabelle couldn’t have been the most faithful because she didn’t make it just proves my theory. Seriously this was ridiculous

    I think only way someone could have won at final four is if Camille was honest with Blake and told him that she was going to write steal and stated obvious that Sam was always writing steal. Would force Blake to join in voting out Sam. After that though you still can't vote out Sarah, both Camille and Blake would still write steal. They would either have had to try and convince Sarah there was no traitor left, or play a game of Sarah roulette and just see who she banished.

    Would have loved to hear her opinion how things would have fared if first there would have been a semi-banishment and the steal or share with a sideline winner option. (I think she wouldve been banished and then it wouldve been open ...)
    Same question with the other finalsists.
    Going against 2 players at the final kinda makes the triple steal most likely outcome.

    Hmm, I've got mixed thoughts here.
    I really admired the selfless way Camille refused the drinks etc during that mission. She was a very loyal faithful.
    But, I actually don't agree with some of her other gameplay. I disagree when she says Annabel wasn't as good a faithful because she didn't make it to the end. The vast majority of good faithfuls don't make it to the end! Because the traitors have the power to oust the faithfuls they know are a threat. Jaz in our season 2 was an exception. He managed it by keeping his cards close to his chest, but he's been unfairly criticised for being too quiet. Annabel has now been unfairly criticised for being too vocal! You just can't easily win as a brilliant faithful. The faithfuls in our season 1 only won because of the Kieron bombshell.
    I do think Sam was insufferable! Poetic justice was served. But, it could just as easily have been served by Blake and Camille joining forces to banish Sam, and then sharing at the final. There were multiple opportunities to banish Sam.
    So, yeah, mixed thoughts here...

  • @shuntley23
    @shuntley23 Před 5 měsíci

    I’m sorry she can’t pretend that Annabel didn’t make sense or lost the group and that’s why she didn’t vote for Sam. I understand not Blake at that time but it’s glaringly obvious that Sam was a traitor and Annabel gave compelling obvious evidence. The only thing I can agree is Annabel should have waited. However, just because she made it to the end, does not equate to being the best faithful. If you’d go by that “logic” then Sarah would be considered one of the best faithfuls of the season. lol. Camille could have manipulated one or two of the faithfuls especially Sarah to vote for Sam or she can have been more convincing to Blake to vote against him. But she didn’t. She also claims that Annabel’s evidence wasn’t enough to vote but her “evidence” for voting for actual faithfuls was sufficient? Annabel’s evidence was the only actual substantial evidence that was brought forth. She sounds jealous tbh. She didn’t play a good game and was a push over. She can claim all she wants that it was strategic but when she needed to do more (ex to vote Sam out) she did not. She claims they were too scared to vote against Sam during the last banishments bc she’s afraid he would out them?? Blake and her could have voted at the time where it wouldn’t matter if he outed them bc they still would have won for instance if there was one faithful left. So sorry not buying that. She claims how intelligent she is so she had to have known that Sam 100% would not have shared and there’s a very high probability that Blake would steal as well. So there is no way she thought there was any chance of sharing $$. So if that’s the case, she should have gone down fighting to vote Sam and possibly Blake out so she could win. She claims she didn’t run with it when Liam wanted to vote Sam out because he said he know she was a traitor too? Was that shown because I don’t remember. Even if that is the case, Blake would def vote Liam out with Camille the next round and then would have just left clueless Sarah which is a faithful and two traitors so Blake and Camille would have won. She could have forced Blake to vote against Sam or could manipulate the remaining faithfuls to vote against him. She played a scared game and trusted Sam/Blake somehow. When she finally woke up to see Sam was a traitor and voted for him it was too late. The last remaining faithful, Simone, that had any brain cells was banished. somehow Camille luckily escaped that particular banishment. But then she became a recruited traitor that night. She was carried to the end of the game by Sam and even Blake since she blindly followed their every command. She played HIS game and I believe she was delusional enough to think that Blake or even Sam would write share. She chose to play scared and was playing Sam’s games not hers. She didn’t do anything that was against Sam and/or even Blake to try to actually win. Again, getting to the end doesn’t make you a good faithful or even turned traitor LOL. She dodged banishment bc like I said she was playing what Sam wanted and she voted what Sam wanted her to vote. What is the point to get to the end and not get any money!!?!! She should have TRIED and played her game and be an actual Traitor. She claims she deserved to be at the end and win the $$ bc she was there at the end because of how she played the game? How did she play her OWN game? She didn’t deserve to be at the end & money sorry. She would have deserved it if she tried to make any strategic move to get Sam or even Blake out but she Didn’t! She is delusional and way to trusting to think she has any chance to win all the money or that Sam or Blake would put share.

    interesting interview! Camille is a lot smarter than I gave her credit for (maybe it was the editing)? Overall a disappointing season ruined by the most shambolic of faithfuls (Sarah, Liam, Gloria, Hannah, Keith and Simone). I do feel Sam should have won as he played the strongest game, although I respect Camille’s move. Does anyone know whether the ‘traitor’s dilemma’ is written into the rules from the start (in the unlikely scenario of multiple final traitors) or was it introduced last minute by the producers? I would feel quite cheated if I were any of the final three traitors…

    • @thetraidarpodcast
      @thetraidarpodcast  Před 9 měsíci +5

      It's written into the rules so this is always what would end up happening if the game ends with multiple traitors.
