"What keeps me going is I want to get better. I never feel that's it, I've learnt everything I need to learn." And this coming from in my opinion one of the greatest actors of my generation. Probably why he is so good.
Beautiful film 💖
A truly great actor, in my opinion one of the best.
What an incredible performance.
Love this film. So memorable.
Only just watched this recently and was emotionally affected by it. Emotional memories are way stronger and out live conventional memories. In some ways the film reminds me of 'The Straight Story' - a David Lynch film which also really surprised me and would recommend. The reality of peoples lives is way more fascinating than fiction to me. That said 'Amelie' has really stuck with me even though it is more of a fantasy - who knows it might / could of have happened? Edit: Really, really sad news that the composer of the score, Nick Lloyd Webber died in March 2023 of cancer. Music of course has a pivotal role in creating memories and this score is no exception. The whole thing is on YT and well worth many re-listens.
I enjoyed this film. Who would think such a good film would be about local bus rides.
Tim is such a fine actor.
