- In this week's episode I explore my favorite fighting game E-Sport of all time. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. This beloved classic for the Nintendo Switch has one of the most in depth (no pun intended) competitive scenes that I absolutely love watching. The fact that Leo vs Tweek has at least 2 of the best sets in Smash history (EVO 2019 and Ult. Summit 5) shows just how insane and untouchable that rivalry is lol

Genesis 7 Marss vs Leo, any 1 of Gluto's heartstopper sets, Tea vs Riddles for a Kazuya ditto that's just plain fun and craziness, Light vs Nairo for a Ganon reversal, Zackray finally winning against Leo, literally any Summit 5 set....

Nairo’s ganon reverse 3-0 at Collision 2019 vs light has to be one of the greatest sets ever played in terms of hope for low tier characters and players betting on themselves
This video is so good you should def do a part 2!! I’ve been in the smash scene for 2 years now and watching these things live is such a surreal experience. Some of my favorite sets include Marss vs MKleo (G7 Grands), Quidd vs Kola (LMBM 2022 Grands), Light vs acola (both gimvitational and smash ultimate summit 5), and MKleo vs Sparg0 (MainStage 2022 grands). There are so many good sets at high level it’s hard to create a top 10 best
Light slowly learning the Steve matchup via facing Acola was one of the most hype things to see
Love all of these sets! But to add one of my own personal favorites, Skyjay vs Fatality. They both just held forward and took turns bodying each other. So entertaining to watch!
Two of the most explosive players creating one of the most explosive sets ever
Came here to say this.. That was one of the few sets where I couldn’t look away out of fear of missing an insane combo.
If there’s a part 2 I’d vote for Leo vs spargo MainStage grands, easily my favorite of all time and a tragic ending

man there's so much I could say about ouch. He's from my region and I was even in the background of the shuton set.
all I'ma say is I was talking to his friend during the riddles set and he was telling me ouch was getting dumpstered in friendlies and there was no hope. seeing the reverse 3-0 was one of the hypest things I've witnessed

Really liked the video dude! The sets you picked were all so fun and the narration really added to it! If you make a part two, I think kurama's frostbite 2020 set against leo has to go down as one of the greatest IMO. Also asimo and acola's runs at the gimvitational were both historic

Great video! I also would like to add the set of Zackray vs. MKLeo in Super Smash Con in 2019. Gave me such chills when I first watched it and I would say no other set has given me the same feeling as that one. From one of the early appearances of Rob in the western smash scene and the super close game between the two... God it’s so good
Zackray is legit the wild card of ultimate always pulling out new characters every time he plays. Cant wait to see him perform now that he’s back doing tournaments!

This may be cheating or not but I have 2 sets I think are historical moments in smash history. They are the same two players in the same bracket, Leo v Acola and the Ludwig Invitational (both Winners Semis and Grands). This set was so historic because of a few reasons
1. It just proved more than anything that Leo is the GOAT, proving his worth against the number 2 player in the world and against a character he had struggled with in the few sets played
2. It showed that Steve isn't perfect and can be outplayed
3. They were just banger sets to watch
We were waiting for so long and then Leo showed everyone that he'll never be topped. Classic set

This was a great video! If you were to make a part 2 , I would recommend Gluto vs Mkleo's Genesis 8 and Pound sets, Spargo vs Leo in Genesis 8, Leo vs Proto in Summit 4 and Double Down, and you can't forget Leo vs Tweek in summit 5.

The only thing that felt, uh, wacky to me, was hearing that Leo was considered the best player also in smash4. I mean, i would argue that Zer0 has to be declared the undisputed king of Sm4sh.

The last 30 seconds of clips being all on ps2 is poetic
My favorite would be riddles vs light at the big house riddles was always so close getting to grand finals in top 8s but always falls short or loses grand finals and this was a blink and you miss it moment seeing riddles destroy light whose fox is insane an always on point with his aggressive approach and kills just seeing light get a dose of his own medicine surprised me.
Riddles' pop off was so full of emotion, it was so satisfying to see him take home a win

I'd like to put forward Kola vs QuiK from Let's Make Big Moves. Just come from my 8th rewatch of that set. It's amazing how hard a set goes when the right music plays in game.
I almost used Heat Haze Shadow in the background of this video. Smash Ultimate's Ost is perfection
I think one of the coolest things is how all of these sets have different characters. Ultimate really is quite varied in character viability
I love tuning into top 8 and having 8 different mains of characters all across the tier list. The character diversity is definitely one of my favorite parts of Ultimate!

Skyjay never fails to be one of the most entertaining players in Ultimate!
One of my favourite sets of all time is probably due to some bias from me but I still think it's amazing. It was part of the Colossel 2022 crew battle. United Kingdom vs Mexico.
You have Luugi, Peli and Bloom4eva vs Chag, Maister and Leo. The British underdogs made this a very close set and ultimately took it home against some of the best players in the world and I couldn't have been more proud of them.
EU in general and especially the UK have been getting better and better of the course of Ultimate's lifespan. I would love to see Bloom compete in the States with his flashy Bayo combos and weird but effective Mii brawler

Marss when he is playing at his best looks untouchable, he makes the other player look so lost. I love both his sets and his content!

One of my favourite sets is riddles (richter) vs bestness. Just seeing a high level richter and the way the set goes was so good
man riddles' richter was cool to see but I will say his Kazuya is my preffered watch
Fatality vs Skyjay's first to 10 is still one of my favorite matches I've seen, Captain Falcon vs Incineroar is a super explosive matchup.
