What a Honest, Frank. Adorable, Lovable, Jolly, Graceful person is Waheeda Rehman. I don't remember how many times I must have seen Guide. She paired well with Dev Anand n their chemistry was amazing though she was wonderful with others too. Her contented attitude makes her look young even at this age. Wow ! She still looks active n her style of talking has not changed. I loved her eyes n innocent moves. It seems she has not been egoistic n more demanding n that is why she has set an example to others in this industry. May Almighty bless her n give her a contended life always........👏👏👏👌👌👌♥️👍🌹😊

So glad I came across this interview. I have always admired Waheeda Rehman, so dignified and down to earth! We lived in Galaxy Apartments, opposite their bungalow in Bandra, and she and her husband always conducted themselves very respectfully, and they did not spoil their kids. Bless you dear ladies.

I thoroughly enjoyed her interview. It was like listening to a story from your grandma. I really like these type of talks, where these senior actors talk about their anecdotal pasts with such enthusiasm and zeal that it puts life into their stories. Twinkle was equally at ease. Liked the way she conducted the interview, she seemed so normal and genuinely interested.
In the end at 22:39 Waheeda Rahman looked eeringly ( in a good way) like Sharmila Tagore.And I had to remind myself, no she is not.😃Overall I want Part-1,2,3 of this.

Great questions and great answers. Guide is such a great book and film. Her description of how she feels about friendship is so refreshing and encouraging. Twinkle also gently translates what Waheeda says but her manner of speaking is so graciously felt and expressed as are Twinkle's questions. I wish the best of these interviews could be put in a book. The husbands get acknowledged for their stellar cooking and understanding. It is so encouraging to be able to view these interviews.

In that moment when she said she didn’t want her kids to watch T.V I felt a similarity in her and Twinkle because I read somewhere that even she doesn’t want her kids to be using their phones much rather she wants them to play outside and be with nature🧡
Wonder why would someone like Waheedaji say that....She has acted only in classic movies and her acting skills par excellence..No wonder if Twinkle thinks so....she definitely wouldn't want her kids to watch her and Canadian Kumar's crappy movies...

All parents and schools are worried about it. There are much worse and frightening things on the net than Akshay Kumar's films. Do Twinkle as a mother has every right to be bothered about it.

This is the best interview so far❤️❤️ I love wahida rehman ji. It's something special about women from 60s and 70s. That grace, humbleness and class in their character which is just there naturally. They are not forcing themselves to be strong lady, because they are quite secure in that area. While what we see now is women talking so desperately about women rights and feminism whithout understanding the true nature of it. Being a woman myself, there is so much to learn from these interviews.

In Childhood Days I used to think Twinkle Khanna was Sister of Sangeeta Bijlani and Raveena Rondon due to her Face resemblance.

I am sure twinkle has learnt Hindi in school. To be interviewing a legend of hindi cinema in English is kind of incongruous

English speaking courses are a industry. Even your objection on this thread is in English....so why this hypocrisy? The idea of a language is to communicate. @@naheedgk it is a well known fact that in India many individuals has a tendency to judge someone’s intellect by their command of English rather than the knowledge they possess .
As you will appreciate , some prominent actors and directors have ridiculed a well known actress in the past for her poor grammar & vocabulary .
You are correct in saying English is a universal language & thus it’s widely spoken .
In Europe , despite being fluent in English , German and french politicians address global forums in their native language because they are proud to promote it .
Unfortunately , over the years we have been inundated with foreign brands & also indoctrinated with western values that it has reached a point whereby the youth of india feels compelled to believe English language is superior to the one spoken by the indigenous .
India has produced so many literary giants ( Hindi ) over the years & if surveyed among the young , most would be oblivious of their existence .
Balance has to be struck , young are very much in awe of their icons from the movie fraternity & it is paramount these so called ‘ stars ‘ took their responsibility seriously because they make an impact & impression whilst in front of the camera .
