icons or cons?😅😅...there are unsung heroines( not glamorous or enhanced by plastic surgery) working with gang rape survivors,child trafficking,child abuse & so on..celebrate them.....these are beautiful people married to rich men ( with money in tax free havens) given way too much importance..Agreed,,everyone like to admire beauty..that's all!
Whenever you hear actresses from this era you realise actors today can get an ideal figure,skin lightening,perfect make up etc with money but this elegance,sophistication and grace can only come from your heart and from being a good person
I love how actresses of that era- Sharmila Tagore, Waheeda Rahman, Asha Parekh, Mumtaz, Saira Banu, talk and conduct themselves in such a dignified manner. I even miss how movies were made in those times.

Twinkle seemed to be in a hurry to get on with her question. 😂 she didn't react to appreciate when sharmila ji said that Apur Sansar is one of the 100 best films in the world.

A good example of a blended family because of not only the qualifications, but also the education of the members of this family. The one lesson is go to college, if you cant, travel, follow sports, poetry, art, culture, expose yourself to everything. Harmony will come to every family in the country❤

Her boldness was undeniable. Imagine being from the Tagore family and willing to wear a bikini and give hot scenes without hesitation. In spite of the fact that Pataudi couldn't watch her movies, she didn't care.
As a way to make money, she changed her religion to Islam and removed her clothes to gain cheap publicity. So much for Tagore name. I wish she did not use it.
She is very very remotely connected to the Tagore family...tho she throws the name at every opportunity.
However...Tagore family would not have minded..
They were Bengals pioneer modern western educated family where women had no restrictions.
