Such a perfect interview! The interviewer made all the difference. She asked the right questions and her reactions too were genuine and to the point. Waheeda ji of course being her elegant self, was just fabulous. I watched CID, Johny mera naam, Jewel thief and Guide in the theatre thanks to this preservation effort. What great films! It was a privilege to watch the evergreen Dev Anand on the big screen again.

OMG I cannot forget when we watched her movie Chaudvin Ka Chand on TV in Pakistan.

Apart I visited the Chittor fort 10 days ago whereas I found huge changes in places where film Guide was shot. I was and am fascinated by role you played in Guide. I have Always loved her but can never forgive her for not going to the human dono premiere despite Dev Anand requesting her so so much . He was deeply grieved and we discussed it. He said sadhna and nanda also refused. All three behaved verry badly and hurt him at the end of his life. Now she is talking about him abt their friendship but behaved so cruelly to him. God bless him sure. But God will teach you a lesson.

@@malatulsidas1189 no she had no reason. I was sitting with Devsaab and he told me how the three leading ladies refused But waheeda he really tried hard to persuade. He told her how many films have we done together? You are a Navketan heroine.. But she humned and hawed and didn't go. This is how Dev Anand was treated tiwarrds the end because his films flopped. BUT I have been present when he came out in public. People went beserk with ecstasy
He didn't need these old hags. He was enough he had enough magnetism to put everyone in the shade. I was only sorry that they hurt him so much. Now these hags go on holidays together and post their pictures in swimsuits at the age of nearly 80.But at that time they didn't think it respectful to go. Waheeda actually started her career with dev anand. I liked them but today I can't forgive them. Sick people and have learnt no wisdom with age.
