What a sight! 140 Classic Cars arrive in Barnard Castle!

This is the 5th year of the Barnard Castle Classic and Retro car meet. It’s becoming one of the best classic car shows in the north of England and this year was even better than last. 140 classic and retro cars gathered together in the grounds of Barnard Castle School in Barnard Castle. I arrived in my classic Mercedes 320CE and had a wonderful day. Classic cars of course are antiques on wheels…sometimes works of art on wheels!

I had my eyes tested recently so I didn't need to go to Barnard castle. Looks like it was a great day out with some beautiful motors.

The jeep at the beginning was my dream car before I went to uni. No speed to speak of, but everything folds down or in, and it came with a winch. Drove through anything and had a motor you could wrench on it you knew how. The X-series jag would have been the daily driver.(LOL) WHen it was running anyway, Jags being what they were.
