Dear David and David, yay for another fun video! Thank you
1. Oh gosh, the trousers, have really wrecked my judgment, lol…the Georg Jensen compotes are beautiful, nice to see a set…. I thought 5 grand….
2. Oooh Van Cleef one of my favourite jewellery designers-always vibrant imaginative pieces. I predicted 3900 …
3. The stand itself is lovely, somehow the clock or the way it is mounted doesn’t suit the silver enamel motif…I predicted 150
I did say your trousers clouded my judgment 😬. Now, put those up for auction, and I could correctly predict what they would go for…😜
Great fun! Thank you from Oz!
Thanks for giving it a go Teepee and pretty good going too…as for the trousers…I’ve been filming in Scotland recently, so I blame the Scots!
@@DavidHarperAntiquesTV whoa there laddie, I’m half Scot!
The trousers were blinding me! Jensen silver tazzas (aka compotes/ candy dishes in these parts) I think these will hit their estimate, but they're fussy. I figured the 4000, up to 4500. V&A with those hearts and all those stones - high end of the estimate if not a bit more, and they'll head overseas. Middle-east or Southeast Asia. (Dubai and China head my list) I was way off on price; the set was too new to fly that high. The clock ... maybe 150/200 was my guess. OTOH mine is about what it would go for here in New England.
How well did you do? …better than me I recon!!
Got almost all correct
I got closest with the clock, I guessed £280. I'm pretty pleased with that with my very limited knowledge.
I think that’s as close as we got!!
I thought £5100, £6750, £340 😂
I guessed 5000 on one., 6000 on the second. 450 on the third
Jensen ( I adore Jensen) I figured $4,000.00 not too far off - Jewelry I understand the high quality and the name so I figured $ 5,000.00 but personally so garish and ugly I have a hard time being fair when I really dislike something, Clock I said $300.00 seemed to be a great price for a beautiful object, Thank you again
I know what you mean Lesley. We’re all lead by our likes and dislikes when it comes to valuing antiques…that’s why they’re so difficult!! Thanks for getting involved. D
£3000 out, I'll get the hang of this one day 🤣
Nowhere near on the Tazers or clock, but just £200 short on the necklace price.
a 6000 I am a dane, that sadly overvalues GJ. b 6500 c 3000
£350 over the top, must try harder 🤣
I'm going to say £7/8000, I'll probably be wrong again
Silver clock, £650
Hi David you need to change the spelling of your first name on the title with as it says Dcid
Many thanks Haydn. Cheers, David
£8000 for the jewelry
Way out again 😂
why not buy, gives some thing extra to the show
If you take a look back over a few months at my other auction vids, you’ll see I do sometimes!
@@DavidHarperAntiquesTV sorry i missed it. I forgot about you.Just glad i found you again. Good Luck David H
