      I have read somewhere the ground cables should be checked. Battery to car frame.

    Check pcm or starter . I had started problems once and I changed the starter and jeep started up and drove fine.

    I had this problem on my 2015 jgc overland . The fix was replace the 6 electronic solenoid valve components in the transmission. $2900.00 . $400.00 was for tranny fluid and filter

      How did they know it was the solenoid valve? Did they trouble shoot? I have the same Jeep with the same issue right now.
      When I jump it, it started up. Idk.

      I’ve been dealing with mien for awhile, leaving it in accessory for a while and then cranking usually does the trick. BUT it’ll be in limp mode, thus repeat the process. I read on some forums quite a few times that the batteries are fucky. Got mine tested a couple of days ago and it was at 91%, bad battery too. Used my warranty and we shall see if the issue continues. I also have the best battery you can get for these cars, not by my choice but when I bought a new one over a year ago, that’s the only one they had in stock

    Had the same problem. First time it happend I knew it was bad battery (70Ah), after one year again. I didn't know whats happening because it is almost new battery. I've put bigger battery 100Ah. and now works fine.
    70Ah is too weak for Jeep
    Sorry for bad English

    • @The_Touring_Jedi
      @The_Touring_Jedi Před 2 lety

      Yes a bigger battery, I cant believe they put 70Ah on 3.0 engine...🤦‍♂️

    • @The_Touring_Jedi
      @The_Touring_Jedi Před 2 lety +1

      Try 100Ah battery, seems those 70Ah are to weak and are drained to soon from the system...

    • @The_Touring_Jedi
      @The_Touring_Jedi Před 2 lety +1

      Also check ground cables...it seems the last good GC was made until 2011/2012

    • @ejayasaula

      did you fix it by changing the battery?

  • @gerardgarcia9715
    @gerardgarcia9715  Před 3 lety +7

    Sorry it took so long just saw the email about a notification comment. Yes it was the battery. One of the cells died in the battery and it was replaced. Jumper cables did not work to start the vehicle either, they were too weak. They had to use a power pack to jump my car. Although, I no longer have it, too many issues. Motor replaced, Transmission replaced, Navigation unit replaced. traded for an X5

      Turns out it was my starter. Took it to the Jeep dealership. They swapped the starter out because it’s part of the power Train unit warrantee

    Guys I have jeep Cherokee 2019 it happened with me often
    To avoid that’s happening follow this steps I tried it:
    1- press the ignition button 2 times to get to the Accessory on
    2-Chang the screen in the dashboard with arrows to the battery screen
    3-keep your start/stop button always off with yellow light on
    4-keep your light off
    And crank it
    It will start
